and (D) when X2 is a negative number and S2 is a subtraction operation, step (c) comprises subtracting |X2| free negative units from the demarcated playing zone and, if there are not |X2| free negative units within the demarcated playing zone to remove from the demarcated playing zone, then step (c) further comprises the step of separating enough null units that are in the demarcated playing zone to obtain up to the required |X2| free negative units and removing the |X2| free negative units from the demarcated playing zone; (d) step (d) is selected from the group consisting of: (A) when X3 is a positive number and S3 is an addition operation, step (d) comprises adding X3 free positive units to the demarcated playing zone and, if there are any free negative units within the demarcated playing zone, then step (d) further comprises the step of combining up to X3 free negative units that are within the demarcated playing zone with up to the X3 free positive units that were moved into the demarcated playing zone; (B) when X3 is a negative number and S3 is an addition operation, step (d) comprises adding |X3| free negative units to the demarcated playing zone and, if there are any free positive units within the demarcated playing zone, then step (d) further comprises the step of combining up to |X3| free positive units that are within the demarcated playing zone with up to the |X3| free negative units that were moved into the demarcated playing zone; (C) when X3 is a positive number and S3 is a subtraction operation, step (d) comprises subtracting X3 free positive units from the demarcated playing zone and, if there are not X3 free positive units within the demarcated playing zone to remove from the demarcated playing zone, then step (d) further comprises the step of separating enough null units that are in the demarcated playing zone to obtain up to the required X3 free positive units and removing the X3 free positive units from the demarcated playing zone; and (D) when X3 is a negative number and S3 is a subtraction operation, step (d) comprises subtracting |X3| free negative units from the demarcated playing zone and, if there are not |X3| free negative units within the demarcated playing zone to remove from the demarcated playing zone, then step (d) further comprises the step of separating enough null units that are in the demarcated playing zone to obtain up to the required |X3| free negative units and removing the |X3| free negative units from the demarcated playing zone; and (e) step (e) is selected from the group consisting of: (A) when X4 is a positive number and S4 is an addition operation, step (e) comprises adding X4 free positive units to the demarcated playing zone and, if there are any free negative units within the demarcated playing zone, then step (e) further comprises the step of combining up to X4 free negative units that are within the demarcated playing zone with up to the X4 free positive units that were moved into the demarcated playing zone; (B) when X4 is a negative number and S4 is an addition operation, step (e) comprises adding |X4| free negative units to the demarcated playing zone and, if there are any free positive units within the demarcated playing zone, then step (e) further comprises the step of combining up to |X4| free positive units that are within the demarcated playing zone with up to the |X4| free negative units that were moved into the demarcated playing zone; (C) when X4 is a positive number and S4 is a subtraction operation, step (e) comprises subtracting X4 free positive units from the demarcated playing zone and, if there are not X4 free positive units within the demarcated playing zone to remove from the demarcated playing zone, then step (e) further comprises the step of separating enough null units that are in the demarcated playing zone to obtain up to the required X4 free positive units and removing the X4 free positive units from the demarcated playing zone; and (D) when X4 is a negative number and S4 is a subtraction operation, step (e) comprises subtracting |X4| free negative units from the demarcated playing zone and, if there are not |X4| free negative units within the demarcated playing zone to remove from the demarcated playing zone, then step (e) further comprises the step of separating enough null units that are in the demarcated playing zone to obtain up to the required |X4 | free negative units and removing the |X4| free negative units from the demarcated playing zone.
