Claims
- 1. A method of playing a game including the steps of:
distributing an equal number of cards to a plurality of players, wherein each card includes a top-face having a plurality of information themes, and a bottom-face having an information trigger, said distributed cards are stacked top-face up in piles; said plurality of players consisting of one changeably designated dealer and remaining player(s); said dealer generates a random symbol using a random-symbol generator, wherein each randomly-generated symbol uniquely corresponds to one of said information themes displayed on top face of cards; said remaining player(s) match the randomly-generated symbol to it's respective uniquely corresponding information theme on cards; said dealer reveals to the remaining player(s) the information trigger of a card at the top of dealer's card pile; each of said remaining player(s) submit a response which relates the information trigger to the randomly-selected information theme, wherein the player that submits the best response is awarded the card which contained the information trigger, and now replaces the designated dealer as the new dealer; wherein the game is completed and a winner is determined when a player has set aside a predetermined number of cards, or whom all cards have been used, the winner having the most cards.
- 2. A method of playing a game as, claimed in claim 1, wherein each card includes a top face having six unique information themes.
- 3. A method of playing a game as claimed in claim 1, wherein each card includes a bottom face having a three-letter information trigger.
- 4. A method of playing a game as claimed in claim 3, wherein the bottom-face of each card has a different three-letter information trigger.
- 5. A method of playing a game as claimed in claim 2, wherein the top-face of each card includes the same set of six unique information themes.
- 6. A method of playing a game as claimed in claim 1, wherein the best response is decided by the changeably designated dealer.
- 7. A method of playing a game as claimed in claim 1, wherein the best response is decided by the agreement or popular choice of all the players.
- 8. A method of playing a game as claimed in claim 1, wherein the random symbol generator is a six-sided die.
- 9. A method of playing a game as claimed in claim 1, wherein said game is played by distributing at least one card to each player.
- 10. A method of playing a game as claimed in claim 1, wherein there are at least two players.
- 11. A game, including:
a plurality of cards, wherein each card includes a top-face having a plurality of information themes, and a bottom-face having an information trigger; and a random symbol generator wherein each symbol corresponds to one of said information themes displayed on said top face of said cards; when said game is played by; distributing one or more of said plurality of cards between a plurality of players; said distributed cards are stacked top-face up in piles; said plurality of players consisting of one changeably designated dealer and remaining player(s); said dealer generates a random symbol using a random-symbol generator, wherein each randomly-generated symbol uniquely corresponds to one of said information theme displayed on top face of cards; said remaining player(s) match the randomly-generated symbol to said uniquely corresponding information theme on cards; said dealer reveals to the remaining player(s) the information trigger of a card at the top of dealer's card pile; each of said remaining player(s) submit a response which relates the information trigger to the randomly-selected information theme, wherein the player that submits the best response is awarded the card which contained the information trigger, and now replaces the designated dealer as the new dealer; wherein the game is completed and a winner is determined when a player has set aside a predetermined number of cards or when all cards have been used, the winner having the most cards.
- 12. A game as claimed in claim 11 wherein each card includes a top face having six unique information themes.
- 13. A game as claimed in claim 11, wherein each card includes a bottom face having a three-letter information trigger.
- 14. A game as claimed in claim 12, wherein the bottom-face of each card has a different three-letter information trigger.
- 15. A game as claimed in claim 12, wherein the top-face of each card includes the same set of six unique information themes.
- 16. A game as claimed in claim 11, wherein the best response is decided by the changeably designated dealer.
- 17. A game as claimed in claim 11, wherein the best response is decided by the agreement of all the players.
- 18. A game as claimed in claim 11, wherein the random symbol generator is a six-sided die.
- 19. A game as claimed in claim 11, wherein said game is played by distributing at least one card to each player.
- 20. A game as claimed in claim 11, wherein there are at least two players.
- 21. A processing system for playing a game, the processing system including a processor adapted to:
generate an information trigger and an information theme; display the information trigger and the information theme to at least one user; receive one or more commands, wherein each command represents a response which relates the information trigger to the information theme; evaluate commands and determine a best response; provide notice of the best response
- 22. A system for playing a game, the system including,
a communications system at least two end-stations coupled together via the communications system, wherein said end stations include:
a display; a processor; an input for receiving commands a store; at least one end-station processor, designated as the dealing processor, adapted to:
generate an information trigger and an information theme; transfer the information trigger and the information theme to remaining end-station processors, designated as the player processors, adapted to: receive the information trigger and the information theme; display the information trigger and the information theme receive at least one command representing a response which relates the information trigger to the theme information; transfer input to dealer processor, wherein the dealer processor being further adapted to:
receives the command(s); evaluates the command(s) and determines a best response; provides notice of the best response.
- 23. A system of playing a game across a computer system as claimed in claim 22 wherein, thc dealer processor causes the player processor which provided the best response, to increment its corresponding end-station store.
- 24. A system of playing a game across a computer system as claimed in claim 22 wherein the game is completed and a winner is determined when at least one end-station store has accumulated a predetermined number of increments.
- 25. A system of playing a game across a computer system as claimed in claim 22 wherein the dealer processor transfers the best response to the end-stations, wherein end-station processors display the best response.
