Claims
- 1. A gaming device having a bonus game comprising:a plurality of levels, wherein each of said levels is related to at least one other level; a plurality of player selectable selections in each of said levels, wherein each selectable selection is included in one level; a plurality of awards associated with said plurality of selections; a display device for displaying said levels to a player; a selector; and a processor which communicates with the display device and the selector which enables the player to pick only one of the selections in each of said levels, wherein the player's pick of one of the selections in a first of said levels limits the available selections for the player to subsequently pick in another of the levels which is related to the first level, and which provides the player said awards associated with said player picked selections.
- 2. The gaming device of claim 1, wherein at least one level is related to a plurality of other levels.
- 3. The gaming device of claim 1, wherein each level is displayed by the display device adjacent to one of the other levels related to said level.
- 4. The gaming device of claim 3, wherein the display device displays the levels in a sequence in which the player picks selections from each level.
- 5. The gaming device of claim 4, wherein each level has more selections than an adjacent level in said sequence.
- 6. The gaming device of claim 4, wherein each level has less selections than an adjacent level in said sequence.
- 7. The gaming device of claim 4, wherein each level has an equal number of selections.
- 8. The gaming device of claim 1, wherein said selector is a touch screen connected to said display device and which communicates with said processor.
- 9. The gaming device of claim 1, wherein the player's pick of one of the selections in one of the levels limits the selections which the player may subsequently pick in a directly related level.
- 10. The gaming device of claim 1, wherein the player's pick of one of the selections in one of the levels limits the selections which the player may subsequently pick in a plurality of directly related levels.
- 11. The gaming device of claim 1, wherein the player's pick of one of the selections in one of the levels limits the selections which the player may subsequently pick in an indirectly related level.
- 12. The gaming device of claim 1, wherein the player's pick of one of the selections in one level limits the selections which the player may subsequently pick in a plurality of indirectly related levels.
- 13. The gaming device of claim 1, wherein the player's pick of one of the selections in one of the levels limits the selections which the player may subsequently pick in a plurality of directly and indirectly related levels.
- 14. The gaming device of claim 1, wherein the player's pick of one of the selections in one of the levels limits the levels from which the player may subsequently pick a selection.
- 15. The gaming device of claim 1, which includes one of the plurality of awards associated with each selection, wherein the processor reveals the award associated with each player selected selection after the player selects said selection.
- 16. The gaming device of claim 15, wherein the plurality of awards associated with each non-selected selection in one of the levels are revealed after one of the selections from said level is selected by the player.
- 17. The gaming device of claim 1, which includes one of the plurality of awards associated with each selection, wherein the processor reveals the awards associated with the player selected selections after the player selects one of the selections from each level.
- 18. The gaming device of claim 17, wherein the plurality of awards associated with all the selectable selections are revealed to the player after the player selects one of the selections from each level.
- 19. The gaming device of claim 1, which includes at least one terminator associated with at least one selection in at least one level.
- 20. The gaming device of claim 1, which includes a plurality of terminators associated with a plurality of selectable selections in said levels.
- 21. The gaming device of claim 1, which includes a terminator associated with one selection in each level.
- 22. The gaming device of claim 1, which includes a number of player picks of said selections.
- 23. The gaming device of claim 22, wherein the number of picks of selections is equal to the number of levels.
- 24. The gaming device of claim 22, wherein the number of picks of selections is less than the number of levels.
- 25. The gaming device of claim 22 which includes at least one additional player pick associated with at least one selection in at least one level.
- 26. The gaming device of claim 25, wherein said additional player pick increases the number of player picks of said selections.
- 27. The gaming device of claim 22, wherein an average of the awards associated with the plurality of selections in one of the levels is greater than an average of the awards associated with the plurality of selections in a related level.
- 28. A gaming device having a bonus game comprising:a plurality of levels, wherein each of said levels is related to at least one other level; a plurality of player selectable selections in each of said levels; a plurality of offers associated with said plurality of selections; a display device for displaying said levels to a player; a selector; an offer acceptor; and a processor which communicates with the display device and the selector which enables the player to pick only one of the selections in each of said levels, wherein the player's pick of one of the selections in a first one of the levels limits the available selections for the player to pick in another of the levels which is related to said first level, which communicates with the offer acceptor and the selector to enable the player to accept the offer associated with the selection picked by the player from the first level or to pick one of the selections in one of the levels directly related to the level, and which provides the player said offer associated with said accepted selection.
- 29. A gaming device having a bonus game comprising:a plurality of levels, wherein each level is related to at least one other level; a plurality of player selectable selections in a plurality of said levels; a plurality of awards associated with said plurality of selections; a display device for displaying said levels selections to a player; a selector; and a processor which communicates with the display device and the selector which enables the player to pick only one of the selections in each of said levels, wherein the player's pick of one of the selections in a first one of the levels limits the available selections for the player to pick in another of the levels which is related to said first level, wherein said processor includes means for modifying the player's selected selections and which provides the player said awards associated with said modified player selected selections.
- 30. The gaming device of claim 29, whereby the modifying means randomly deselects prior selected selections.
- 31. The gaming device of claim 30, which includes an acceptor in communication with the processor which enables the player to end the bonus game and obtain the awards associated with the selected selections.
- 32. The gaming device of claim 29, whereby the modifying means randomly selects prior non-selected selections.
- 33. The gaming device of claim 29, whereby the modifying means randomly deselects prior selected selections and selects prior non-selected selections.
- 34. The gaming device of claim 33, which includes an acceptor in communication with the processor which enables the player to end the bonus game, and obtain the awards associated with the selected selections.
- 35. The gaming device of claim 29, which includes at least one terminator associated with at least one selection in at least one level.
- 36. The gaming device of claim 29, which includes a plurality of terminators associated with a plurality of selectable selections in said levels.
- 37. The gaming device of claim 29, which includes a terminator associated with one selection in each level.
- 38. A gaming device having a bonus game comprising:a plurality of levels, wherein each level related is to at least one other level; a plurality of player selectable selections in each of said levels; a plurality of awards associated with said plurality of selections; a display device for displaying said levels; a selector; a number of picks of said selections; at least one pick modifier associated with at least one selection; and a processor which communicates with the display device and the selector which enables the player to pick only one of the selections in each of said levels, wherein the player's pick of one of the selections in a first of said levels limits the available selections for the player to subsequently pick in another of the levels which is related to said first level, which modifies the player's number of picks and which provides the player said awards associated with said player picked selections.
- 39. The gaming device of claim 38, wherein said first level has an average value of the awards associated with the plurality of selections in said first level and an average value of the awards associated with the plurality of selections in each subsequent related level is greater than an average value of the awards associated with the plurality of selections from a prior related level.
- 40. The gaming device of claim 38, which includes a plurality of pick modifiers associated with said plurality of selections.
- 41. The gaming device of claim 40, wherein at least one of the pick modifiers increases the number of picks of selections by at least one.
- 42. The gaming device of claim 40, wherein at least one of the pick modifiers decreases the number of picks of selections by at least one.
- 43. The gaming device of claim 38, wherein a plurality of selections in a first level can be selected from said first level, and said processor limits the selections which the player may pick in a related level based on the last selection picked by said player in said first level.
- 44. The gaming device of claim 38, which includes at least one terminator associated with at least one selection in at least one level.
- 45. The gaming device of claim 38, which includes a plurality of terminators associated with a plurality of selectable selections in said levels.
- 46. The gaming device of claim 38, which includes a terminator associated with one selection in each level.
- 47. A gaming device having a bonus game comprising:a plurality of levels, wherein each of said levels is related to at least one other level; a plurality of player selectable selections in a plurality of said levels, wherein a first level includes at least one selectable selection and each subsequent level until a final level includes more selectable selections than a previous related level; a plurality of awards associated with said plurality of selections; a display device for displaying said levels to a player; a selector; and a processor which communicates with the display device and the selector which enables the player to pick only one of the selections in each of said levels, wherein the player's pick of one of the selections in a first of said levels limits a plurality of the available levels for the player to subsequently pick, and which provides the player said awards associated with said player picked selections.
- 48. A gaming device comprising:a display device; and a processor which controls the display device, said processor and said display device adapted to: (a) trigger a bonus round; (b) associate a plurality of awards with a plurality of player selectable selections from a plurality of levels; (c) enable a player to pick only one of said selections in one of the levels; (d) reveal any award associated with said picked selection; (e) enable the player to pick only one of the selections in a related level, wherein said selections are related to the selection previously picked by the player from the previous level; (f) repeat steps (d) through (e) until the player has picked only one selection in each level; (g) provide the player all of the awards associated with the selections picked by the player; and (h) terminate the bonus round.
- 49. A gaming device having a bonus game comprising:a plurality of related levels, wherein each level is directly related to at least one other level; a plurality of player selectable selections in each of said levels; an award associated with each of said selections in said levels; a display device for displaying said levels and said awards to a player; a selector; and a processor which communicates with the display device and the selector which enables the player to pick only one of the selections in each of said levels, wherein the player's pick of one of the selections in a first level limits the available selections for the player to subsequently pick in a directly related level and at least one indirectly related level, and which provides the player said awards associated with said player selected selections.
