- 9. The gaming apparatus of claim 8 wherein the first pay line, the second pay line and the third payline together form an isosceles triangle.
- 10. The gaming apparatus of claim 9 further comprising a pay line that indicates indicia on each wheel.
- 11. A gaming device for use by at least one game player for playing a game, the gaming device comprising:
(A) a plurality of nonconcentric rotatable wheels, each of the wheels having a viewable annular surface; (B) at least one indicia appearing on the viewable annular surfaces of each of the wheels; and (C) a plurality of pay lines, the pay lines indicating indicia on at least two of the wheels, wherein at least one wheel comprises more than one indicia indicated by a pay line.
- 12. The gaming device of claim 11 wherein the wheels are arranged in an approximate clover formation.
- 13. The gaming device of claim 11, further comprising a game table, the plurality of rotatable wheels being mounted in the game table.
- 14. The gaming device of claim 13 wherein the table is approximately clover shaped.
- 15. The gaming device of claim 11 wherein the viewable annular surface of each wheel defines a plane, the plane defined by the viewable annular surface being perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the wheel.
- 16. The gaming device of claim 11 wherein each rotatable wheel comprises a circumference and a face, the circumference being substantially perpendicular to the face, the viewable annular surface being on the face.
- 17. The gaming device of claim 11 further comprising a drive mechanism coupled to the wheels, the drive mechanism being adapted to rotate the plurality of wheels and stop the wheels in a position, wherein the occurrence of a predetermined combination of the indicia on a pay line indicates a winning combination.
- 18. A gaming device for use by at least one game player for playing a game of chance, the gaming device comprising:
(A) first, second, and third rotatable wheels, each of the wheels having a viewable annular surface; (B) at least one indicia appearing on the viewable annular surface of each of the wheels; (C) at least two pay lines adapted to indicate a group of indicia, the group comprising two indicia on the first wheel and at least one indicia from the second or third wheel; and (D) a drive mechanism coupled to the wheels, the drive mechanism being adapted to rotate the wheels and stop the wheels in a position wherein the occurrence of a predetermined combination of the indicia on a pay line indicates a winning combination.
- 19. The gaming device of claim 18 wherein the wheels are arranged in an approximate clover formation.
- 20. The gaming device of claim 18, further comprising a game table, the rotatable wheels being mounted in the game table.
- 21. The gaming device of claim 20 wherein the table is approximately clover shaped.
- 22. The gaming device of claim 18 wherein the viewable annular surface of each wheel defines a plane, the plane defined by the viewable annular surface being perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the wheel.
- 23. A gaming device for use by at least one game player for playing a game of chance, the gaming device comprising:
(A) at least a first and a second nonconcentric rotatable wheel, each of the wheels having a viewable annular surface;. (B) at least one indicia appearing on the viewable annular surface of each wheel; and (C) at least two pay lines adapted to indicate groups of indicia appearing on the first and second wheels, wherein the at least two pay lines indicate at least three separate indicia.
- 24. The gaming device of claim 23 wherein the wheels are displayed via an electronic display device.
- 25. The gaming device of claim 23 further comprising a drive mechanism coupled to the wheels, the drive mechanism being adapted to rotate the wheels and stop the wheels in a position, wherein the occurrence of a predetermined combination of the indicia on a pay line indicates a winning combination.
- 26. The gaming device of claim 25 wherein the drive mechanism is adapted to stop the wheels in positions that are randomly determined.
- 27. The gaming device of claim 25 wherein the drive mechanism is adapted to stop the wheels in positions, the positions being within a finite number of predetermined stopping positions.
