1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a garment hanger with a information tab thereon, and more particularly to an information tab that can be fast detachably clamped on a garment hanger for distinguishing the size of a garment on the garment hanger.
2. Description of the Prior Art
There are various types of garment hangers in the markets; and information tabs mounted on garment hangers for distinguishing the sizes of garments on the garment hangers have been used for years. Generally, the information tabs are easily and detachably fixed on the garment hangers particularly near hooks provided on the garment hangers to be used to fast distinguish the sizes of the garments on the garment hangers.

And more, the opening A13 of the information tab A10 is faced to the hook A21 of the garment hanger A20 to be engaged with the hook A21, however, the opening A13 does not have any specific guiding means for the convenience of engaging with the hook A21, hence when the user holds the information tab A10 to engage with the hook A21, the speed of engaging action can not be fast.
Therefore, it is the main objective of the present invention to provide an information tab able to be fast engaged with a hook of a garment hanger, and able to have the size marking for distinguishing fast printed on the information tab.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a garment hanger with an information tab thereon, the garment hanger has a hook for hanging the garment hanger, the information tab clamps the hook; the outer surface of the information tab is a relatively smooth surface in order to be convenient for printing during production.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a garment hanger with an information tab thereon, the information tab is provided with a guiding means at an opening for engaging with the hook in order that the information tab is easily engage with the hook.
To achieve the above stated objectives, the information tab of the present invention includes a first clamping portion and a second clamping portion, the front ends of the first and the second clamping portions define an opening end, and a connecting portion is provided on the rear ends of the first and the second clamping portions, so that the information tab is in the shape of “U”; wherein the front ends of the first and the second clamping portions extend inwards to the center of a transverse sectional area of the information tab to form a first and a second protrusion; the two rear ends of the first and the second clamping portions also extend inwards to the center of the transverse sectional area of the information tab to form a third and a fourth protrusion; the two middle portions of the first and the second clamping portions also extend respectively inwards to the center of the transverse sectional area of the information tab to form a fifth and a sixth protrusion, the first, the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth and the sixth protrusions form thereamong a receiving area for engaging the information tab on the garment hanger to thereby make the first and the second protrusions a guiding means to allow the information tab to be fast detachably engaged via the opening and clamped on the hook.

The main body 20 is in a shape such as an “I”, a triangle or any other shape for well supporting garments on the main body 20, and is made of plastic by injection forming, or can be made of some other solid and durable material.
The main body 20 is provided on its two ends with two clamps for the convenience of clamping garments. The hook 30 on the main body 20 can be engaged with the main body 20, or can be detachably connected (such as be screw-connected) with the main body 20; and the material of the hook 30 preferably mainly is metal or some other durable material.
The neck 31 of the hook 30 is provided to be clamped by the information tab 40, thereby, the length “H” of the neck 31 had better be coincident with the height “h” of the information tab 40, or the length “H” of the neck 31 can be slightly larger than the height “h” of the information tab 40, the length “H” of the neck 31 can be set as 1.5˜2.0 cm.

Moreover, the rear ends of the first and the second clamping portions 41, 42, also extend inwards to the center of the transverse sectional area of the information tab 40 to form a third and a fourth protrusion 413, 414 respectively; the two middle portions of the first and the second clamping portions 41, 42 also extend respectively inwards to the center of the transverse sectional area of the information tab 40 to form a fifth and a sixth protrusion 416 and 417; the first, the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth and the sixth protrusions 411, 412413, 414416 and 417 form thereamong a receiving area 415 to receive the neck 31 of the hook 30.
Thereby, the information tab 40 can be fast detachably engaged via the opening 43 and clamped on the neck 31 of the hook 30. Because the information tab 40 is formed from the first clamping portion 41, the second clamping portion 42 and the connecting portion 44 and is in the shape of “U” apparently, and the first clamping portion 41, the second clamping portion 42 and the connecting portion 44 are all two dimensional planes, it is easier to be printed with the information of size of a garment on its outer surface than on the conventional three dimensional cylindrical information tabs, and is not subject to dropping from the hook or losing.
The information tab 40 is a cuboidal stub with a height of 1.5˜2.0 cm, so that when the information tab 40 is engaged with the hook 30, the information tab 40 will slide to a position on the bottom of the neck 31 of the hook 30; thereby, when information tabs 40 on an array of garment hangers all slide to the bottoms of the necks 31 of the hooks 30, in addition to having a good looking, a function of fast distinguishing sizes of the garments on the garment hangers can be provided.

In the garment hanger with the information tab of the present invention, the information tab and the garment hanger are mutually cooperatively designed to be as a whole, so that information tabs on a plurality of garment hangers can slide to the bottoms of necks of hooks, in addition to having a good looking, a function of fast distinguishing sizes of the garments on the garment hangers can be provided.
The information tab is provided with a guiding means at its opening, so that when a user desires to hold the information tab to engage the hook, the action of this can be faster and more convenient.
The information tab is formed generally in the shape of “U” apparently, and each surface of the “U” shape is an outer two dimensional plane, this renders the process of production in printing the size marking for distinguishing on the surface of the information tab easier and faster.
In conclusion, according to the description disclosed above and the drawings, the present invention surely can achieve the expected objectives thereof to provide an information tab that can fast clamp a garment hanger.
