Claims
- 1. An analyzer, comprising:
a sensor function that takes readings of a sample of gas supplied from an inlet; a zero function that resets said sensor to a baseline; and a purge function that purges the analyzer of a contaminant, wherein the sensor function, the zero function and the purge function are in communication with each other.
- 2. The analyzer of claim 1, wherein when said sensor function is actuated, the zero function and the purge function are automatically actuated.
- 3. The analyzer of claim 1, wherein when said sensor function is actuated, the zero function and the purge function are simultaneously actuated with each other.
- 4. The analyzer of claim 1, wherein when said sensor function is actuated, the zero function is automatically actuated followed by the purge function.
- 5. The analyzer of claim 1, wherein when said sensor function is actuated, the purge function is automatically actuated followed by the zero function.
- 6. The analyzer of claim 1, wherein when said sensor function is actuated, the zero function and the purge function are simultaneously and automatically actuated.
- 7. The analyzer of claim 1, wherein the purge function occurs before at least one of zero function and sensor function.
- 8. The analyzer of claim 1, wherein the zero function occurs before at least one of purge function and sensor function.
- 9. The analyzer of claim 1, wherein the sensor function occurs before at least one of zero function and purge function.
- 10. A method of operating an analyzer, comprising the steps of:
actuating a sensor function of the analyzer to take a reading of a sample of gas supplied by an inlet; actuating a zero function of the analyzer to zero out the analyzer; and actuating a purge function of the analyzer to purge a contaminant from the analyzer.
- 11. The method of operating the analyzer of claim 10, wherein actuating the sensor function automatically actuates the zero function and the purge function.
- 12. The method of operating the analyzer of claim 10, wherein actuating the sensor function, automatically actuates the zero function followed by the purge function.
- 13. The method of operating the analyzer of claim 10, wherein actuating the sensor function, automatically actuates the purge function followed by the zero function.
- 14. The method of operating the analyzer of claim 10, wherein actuating the sensor function actuates the zero function and the purge function simultaneously and automatically.
- 15. The method of operating the analyzer of claim 10, wherein actuating the purge function occurs before at least one of actuating the zero function and actuating the sensor function.
- 16. The method of operating the analyzer of claim 10, wherein actuating the zero function occurs before at least one of actuating the purge function and actuating the sensor function.
- 17. The method of operating the analyzer of claim 10, wherein actuating the sensor function occurs before at least one of actuating the purge function and actuating zero function.
- 18. A system for operating an analyzer, comprising:
means for taking live reading of a gas sample; means for purging a contaminant from the analyzer; and means for zeroing a sensor of the analyzer, wherein the means for taking live reading, the means for purging and the means for zeroing are in communication with each other.
- 19. The system for operating an analyzer of claim 18, wherein the means for purging occurs before at least one of means for zeroing and means for taking live reading.
- 20. The system for operating an analyzer of claim 18, wherein the means for zeroing occurs before at least one of means for purging and means for taking live reading.
- 21. The system for operating an analyzer of claim 18, wherein the means for taking live reading occurs before at least one of means for zeroing and means for purging.
- 22. The system for operating an analyzer of claim 18, wherein when the means for taking live reading is actuated, the means for purging and the means for zeroing are automatically actuated.
