Claims
- 1. A process for making moulded polyurethane products characterized by using gas assisted injection moulding.
- 2. The process of claim 1, whereby gas counter pressure is used together with the gas assisted injection moulding.
- 3. The process of claim 1, whereby the moulded polyurethane product is a thermoplastic polyurethane.
- 4. The process of claim 1, whereby a blowing agent is present.
- 5. The process of claim 4, wherein the amount of blowing agent is between 0.5 and 4.0 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of thermoplastic polyurethane.
- 6. The process of claim 3, whereby a polymer for making the moulded polyurethane products contain expandable microspheres.
- 7. The process of claim 6, wherein the amount of microspheres is between 1.0 and 4.0 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of thermoplastic polyurethane.
- 8. The process of claim 2, wherein the gas used for counter pressure is nitrogen or carbon dioxide.
- 9. The process of claim 7, whereby said microspheres are thermally expandable.
- 10. A process for making moulded polyurethane products characterized by using gas assisted injection moulding, whereby gas counter pressure is used together with the gas injection moulding.
- 11. The process of claim 10, whereby the moulded polyurethane product is a thermoplastic polyurethane.
- 12. The process of claim 10, whereby a blowing agent is present.
- 13. The process of claim 12, wherein the amount of blowing agent is between 0.5 and 4.0 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of thermoplastic polyurethane.
- 14. The process of claim 11, whereby a polymer for making the moulded polyurethane products contain expandable microspheres.
- 15. The process of claim 14, wherein the amount of microspheres is between 1.0 and 4.0 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of thermoplastic polyurethane.
- 16. The process of claim 10, wherein the gas used for counter pressure is nitrogen or carbon dioxide.
- 17. The process of claim 15, whereby said microspheres are thermally expandable.
- 18. A process for making moulded thermoplastic polyurethane products characterized by using gas assisted injection moulding, whereby gas counter pressure is used together with the gas injection moulding.
- 19. The process of claim 18, whereby a blowing agent is present.
- 20. The process of claim 19, wherein the amount of blowing agent is between 0.5 and 4.0 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of thermoplastic polyurethane.
- 21. The process of claim 18, whereby a polymer for making the moulded thermoplastic polyurethane products contain expandable microspheres.
- 22. The process of claim 21, wherein the amount of microspheres is between 1.0 and 4.0 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of thermoplastic polyurethane.
- 23. The process of claim 18, wherein the gas used for counter pressure is nitrogen or carbon dioxide.
- 24. The process of claim 22, whereby said microspheres are thermally expandable.
