Claims
- 1. A gas insulation switch comprisinga first unit housing an electric conductor and an insulating support member for supporting said electric conductor arranged in a first grounding tank charged with a first insulating gas, and a second unit housing a switch part provided on said electric conductor for switching an electric current flowing in said electric conductor and an insulating support member for supporting said electric conductor arranged in a second grounding tank charged with a second insulating gas, wherein an earth warming coefficient of said first insulating gas charged in said first grounding tank of said first unit is smaller than an earth warming coefficient of said second insulating gas charged in said second grounding tank of said second unit, and a pressure of said first insulating gas charged in said first grounding tank of said first unit is higher than a pressure of said second insulating gas charged in said second grounding tank of said second unit.
- 2. A gas insulation switch as defined in claim 1 whereinsaid switch part housed in said second unit is at least one of a breaker, a disconnecting switch and a grounding switch.
- 3. A gas insulation switch as defined in claim 1 whereinSF6 (sulphur hexafluoride) gas is used as said insulating gas charged in said second grounding tank of said second unit, and nitrogen gas or air is used as said insulating gas charged in said first grounding tank of said first unit.
