Claims
- 1. A method for electronically balancing detector output within a gas sensor, wherein said balancing method comprises real time processing by a computer.
- 2. A gas sensor, comprising:
two optical paths; and a control and data acquisition means, wherein said control and data acquisition means electronically balances the optical intensities between the two optical paths for one or more partitioned spectral regions of interest; further wherein said balancing is performed digitally.
- 3. A gas sensor, comprising:
two optical paths; and a control and data acquisition means, wherein said control and data acquisition means electronically balances the optical intensities between the two optical paths for one or more partitioned spectral regions of interest; further wherein said balancing is analog balancing.
