1. Field of the Invention
This invention is related to an article of manufacture. This device is a continuation in part of application Ser. No. 09/798,209. More specifically, this invention is directed to a device (membrane) created by the combination of four overlapping circles combined together inside the head of the racket particularly tennis for increased focal support in the center of the racket. In the preferred embodiments of this invention, the device comprises four overlapping circular zones which provide one sweet zone in the center of the racket which provides an increased focal support and pressure. There are four secondary sweet zones, each located at the center from the periphery of each of the four circles overlapping located in the head of the racket.
2. Description of the Prior Art
Tennis rackets have had changes in the material making up the racket to provide increased strength and support. There has not been significant improvement in the head of the racket in design. Most rackets are made of an oval geometric area strung with different types of material. The inner design in the head of the racket does not have a geometric configuration of four overlapping circles and/or zones in the head of the racket.
It is the object of this invention to remedy the above as well as related deficiencies in the prior art. More specifically, it is the principal object of the present invention to provided geometrically configured membrane fitted in the head of the racket. It is another object of this invention to provide a geometrically configured membrane for pressure support which stretches inferior, superior, medial and lateral for 360° quadrant support made up of four overlapping circular zones providing the head of the racket with one large zone made up of four overlapping circles containing four smaller zones made up of the four individual circles. These multiple circles making up one larger membrane offer one zone of enhanced focal support for pressure, force, strength and control directed at ones ability to better serve and volley with the tennis ball and/or object used. This head of the racket with the individual circles offer secondary zones of pressure, force, strength and control.
The above and related objects are achieved by providing a membrane made of four overlapping circles within the head of the racket geometrically configured where there is increased power released upon hitting the object and/or ball due to the geometric design with particular emphasis to the center of the strings in the racket. The membrane, thus, provides for both ease of attachment of strings to the head of the racket and of application of differential (increased or focused) pressures to the ball or object being hit. In this invention the pressure concentrating means of the composite comprises an area having a racket head design made of the frame with the plurality of rings (circles) holding the strings providing them with greater stretch resistance than the uniform head presently used provides, when an object or ball hits the strings due to the geometric design and support of the head of the racket integrated to the other parts of the racket as a whole.
