Claims
- 1. A method of treating an animal suffering from a psychoneurological disorder, which comprises, administering to said animal an effective amount to relieve said suffering, of a polymer selected from the group consisting of those of the formulae: ##STR12## wherein A represents one of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, --COOH, --COOR (wherein R is an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms),
- B represents one of a hydrogen atom and an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; Z represents one of a hydroxy group, an alkoxy group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms and an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; and n is an integer greater than 3, inclusive.
- 2. The method of claim 1, wherein said disorder is manifested by epilepsy.
- 3. The method of claim 1, wherein said disorder is manifested by depression.
- 4. The method of claim 1, wherein said disorder is manifested by schizophrenia.
- 5. The method of claim 1, wherein said disorder is manifested by asthenia.
- 6. The method of claim 1, wherein said disorder is manifested by apocamnosis.
