The present invention relates to a new girdle for underwear with a thick section for the buttocks.
When an older person, or a person who is thin due to a disease, for example, such as cancer, or a constitution that prevents them from gaining weight, sits on a chair without a seat cushion, the person's buttocks may become sore, or there may be darkening around the buttocks. Therefore, increasing the thickness of the garment section corresponding to the buttocks by sewing is considered (such as Patent Document 1).
Incidentally, if the thickness of the trousers or slacks in the area corresponding to the buttocks is changed, the trousers or slacks (hereinafter referred to as “trousers, etc.”) may become uneven, or seams may be visible, so it is preferred that processing is done on the girdle. However, if thick stitches are used for the part of the girdle corresponding to the buttocks, although it is comfortable when sitting on a chair, the coefficient of extension of the garment differs between the thick and thin sections, making it difficult for the thicker sections to follow the movement of the buttocks when walking due to which there is discomfort. Another problem is that drying will be difficult after washing. Thus, there is a margin for improvement of conventional technology.
This invention was invented given these circumstances, and the object of the present invention is to provide a girdle that does not cause soreness of the buttocks when sitting on a chair, etc., and also allows walking without discomfort.
The girdle of the invention of claim 1 is characterized in that it comprises a girdle Body, a pair of cushion members disposed on the front side of 2 placement areas that includes the rear left and right ischium support parts in the girdle body, and No. 1 attachment and detachment means is provided at least on one of the rear sides of each cushion member and the front side of the 2 placement areas for removably placing each cushion member in the placement regions.
The girdle of the invention of claim 2 is characterized by the girdle of claim 1, wherein the No. 1 attachment and detachment means is provided at 1 or 2 more locations where both the cushion member and the placement area overlap.
The girdle of the invention of claim 3 is characterized by the girdle of claim 2, wherein a girdle body with a cover covering at least the waist region to the cushion member at the rear front side, the cover is partially sewn to the girdle body at least in a portion excluding the waist region and No. 2 attachment and detachment means is provided between the waist region of the girdle body and the cover portion corresponding to the waist region.
The girdle of the invention of claim 4 is characterized by the girdle of claim 2 or claim 3, wherein a cushion member is equipped with a pouch body, and a buffer member and the No. 1 attachment and detachment means is provided at 1 or 2 more locations where both the pouch body and the placement area overlap.
The girdle of the invention of claim 5 is characterized by any of the girdles of claims 1 to 4, wherein the buffer member has a plurality of rectangular buffer strips provided in a row arrangement along the width direction with gaps between adjacent members and is placed in the ischium support part and the neighboring area.
The girdle of the invention of claim 6 is characterized by the girdle of claim 5, wherein the buffer strip is stacked at least in the ischium support part, and the number of sheets stacked in the neighboring area is less than the ischium support part.
The girdle of the invention of claim 7 is characterized by the girdle of claim 6, wherein the buffer strip at the ischium support part has softer layers closer to the ischium than the layers further away from the ischium.
The girdle of the invention of claim 8 is characterized by the girdle in any of claims 5 to 7, wherein the buffer member has a buffer strip attached to one side, or buffer sheets are provided with the buffer strips sandwiched in between.
The girdle of the invention of claim 9 is characterized by the girdle in any of claims 1 to 8, wherein the pair of cushion members are connected by a connecting member.
The girdle of the invention of claim 10 is characterized by the girdle of claims 1 to 9, wherein the attachment and detachment means is a hook-and-loop fastener.
According to the invention of claim 1, the cushion members are removably arranged with the No. 1 attachment and detachment means on the front side of each of the 2 placement areas, including the ischium support parts on the rear left and right sides of the girdle body. Therefore, when walking, the cushion member can be removed from the girdle body to allow walking and moving without discomfort. When sitting on a chair, the cushion member can be attached to the girdle body to prevent soreness of the buttocks and darkening around the buttocks.
According to the invention of claim 2, the cushion member can be set in the required position easily and securely. With this, the cushion member can be accurately positioned at the ischium support part, reliably preventing soreness in the buttocks.
In the invention of claim 3, when the No. 2 hook-and-loop fastener is peeled off to open the upper end of the cover and the waist region of the girdle body, the cushion member can be easily inserted from the top of the opening. Conversely, when the No. 2 hook-and-loop fastener is attached to close the upper end of the cover and the waist region of the girdle body, it is easy to wear (trousers, etc.) without the legs getting caught in the cover. When washing, even if the No. 2 hook-and-loop fastener is peeled off and the cushion member is removed, since part of the cover is sewn to the girdle body, the cover and girdle body do not get separated; also, it is not necessary to check the front and back of the cover after washing. In this case, if the No. 2 hook-and-loop fastener is fixed, washing the girdle can be handled in the same way as an ordinary girdle. In addition, since the cushion members can be dried after removing them, drying in a short time is possible.
According to the invention of claim 4, since the buffer member is stored inside the pouch body, by preparing a plurality of pouch body types in advance, for example, pouch body with thicker buffer members and pouch body with softer buffer members, etc., buffer members can be selected and used according to the soreness condition of the buttocks. If the pouch body is provided with the male surface (female surface) of the No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener, one of the plurality of pouch body types can be selectively attached to the placement area of the girdle body. In this case, the female surface (or male surface) of the No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener will have to be provided in the placement area of the girdle body, opposite the pouch body.
According to the invention of claim 5, the buffer member has a plurality of rectangular buffer strips provided in a row arrangement along the width direction with gaps between adjacent members and is placed in the ischium support part and the neighboring area. As a result, the appearance of trousers, etc., around the buttocks will be neat even when standing or sitting. In other words, when a wide buffer sheet is used to cover the area corresponding to the ischium support part and neighboring area, the ischium support part is subject to more force and becomes thin, and the center of the buffer sheet is deformed to the shape of the buttocks, there is pulling in the surrounding areas of the small buffer sheet, where the force received is small suppressing deformation, either deformation does not take place or is small even if deformation takes place, and the sheets will come away from the buttocks, and the appearance of trousers, etc., around the buttocks, will not be neat. In comparison, since the buffer strips are in the form of rectangular strips in the present invention, it is easy for the rectangular buffer strips to deform, conforming to the buttocks from the center to the ends in the longitudinal direction. Since there are gaps between the adjacent strips, even if the buffer strips are compressed and spread in the width direction, it is difficult for the spread to interfere with the adjacent buffer strips, which gives a neat appearance to the trousers, etc., around the buttocks. This invention is especially useful for skinny people who lack confidence due to small buttocks. For the same reason, the present invention can follow the deformation of the buttocks during walking (or other physical activities), making walking (or other physical activities) easier.
According to the invention of claim 6, since buffer strips are stacked in the ischium support part, the buffer strips can easily absorb the load applied to the ischium. Since there are fewer layers in the neighboring area than the ischium support part, the edges of the buffer strip can be easily deformed to conform to the buttocks, which gives a neat appearance to the trousers, etc., around the buttocks.
According to the invention of claim 7, since the buffer strip at the ischium support part has softer layers closer to the ischium than the layers further away from the ischium, the arrangement is suitable for protecting the ischium because the forces applied to the ischium are absorbed.
According to the invention of claim 8, the force received by the buffer strips is transferred to the buffer sheet by attaching the buffer sheet to at least one side of the buffer strips, and the deformation of the buffer member is made gentler than when the buffer sheet is not provided, which gives a neat appearance to the trousers, etc., around the buttocks.
According to the invention of claim 9, since the pair of cushion members are connected by the connecting member, the front and back can be checked with a cushion member of one side, and there is no need to check the front and back of each cushion member. It is also convenient because the 2 cushion members are not separated, and there is no need to search for them to make a pair.
As in the case of the invention of claim 10, when hook-and-loop fasteners (No. 1 and No. 2) are used as the attachment and detachment means, attachment and detachment can be done very easily.
The embodiment of the present invention will be explained in detail with the drawings. The terms “front” and “back” given below are used with reference to the orientation of the wearer's body when the girdle is worn.
Girdle 1 comprises of girdle body 2, which covers the waist to the thigh region, a pair of cushion members 5A, 5B disposed on the front side of 2 placement areas 4, 4 that includes the rear left and right ischium support parts 3, 3 in girdle body 2, and No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6 provided on the rear sides of each of the cushion members 5A, 5B and the front side of each placement area 4. Cushion member 5A and cushion member 5B are connected through 2 connecting members 5C. One or more than 3 connecting members 5C may be used.
The No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6 functions as an attachment and detachment means to removably place each of the cushion members 5A, 5B to and from each placement area 4, and is provided at 2 locations where both cushion members 5A, 5B and the placement area 4 overlaps.
Girdle body 2 has a cover 7 on the rear front side (buttocks side) as shown in
As shown in
Next, the structure of cushion members 5A, 5B is described for cushion member 5A on one side. Buffer member 12 has a structure comprising 5 Nos. of rectangular buffer strip 13, 3 Nos. of rectangular buffer strip 14, a large buffer sheet 15 and a small buffer sheet 16. Small buffer sheet 16 is placed towards the buttocks side (front side), and large buffer sheet 15 is placed on the opposite side of the small buffer sheet 16, sandwiching buffers strips 13, 14, in other words, placed on the outside (rear side). Both sides of buffer sheet 15 and buffer sheet 16 along the longitudinal direction are formed in the shape of an arc, and the width dimension is almost the same. Buffer sheet 15 is longer than buffer sheet 16, and buffer sheet 15 and buffer sheet 16 are used by overlapping. Both sides of buffer sheet 15 along the longitudinal direction are located outside both sides of buffer sheet 16 along the longitudinal direction.
As shown in
The 3 numbers of buffer strip 13 at the center are overlapped by buffer strip 14, as shown in
Buffer member 12 configured in this manner is covered with the pouch body 11. Pouch body 11 is manufactured to be about the same size or slightly larger than buffer sheet 15. Male surface 6A of No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6 is provided in pouch body 11, while female surface 6B of No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6 is provided in placement area 4 of girdle body 2.
Buffer strip 13 at the center among the 5 buffer strips 13 and the overlapping buffer strip 14 are placed such that they are positioned at ischium support part 3 that comes under ischium X when sitting, as shown in
Next is the explanation of the buffer member 12 material. Buffer strip 13, buffer sheet 15 and buffer sheet 16 are made of polyether urethane foam, and buffer strip 14 is made of a harder polyether urethane foam. The difference in hardness is achieved by varying the density during the manufacturing process.
In contrast to cushion member 5A, constructed in this way, cushion member 5B is constructed with left-right symmetry, and the explanation is omitted.
The arrangement of male surface 6A of No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6 provided in pouch body 11 and female surface 6B of No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6 provided in placement area 4 of girdle body 2 is explained below. For convenience, the waist region 8 of girdle body 2 is referred to as the upper side and the inseam as the lower side.
Male surface 6A of No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6 is provided at 2 upper and lower locations for each of the cushion members 5A, 5B, and female surface 6B of No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6 is provided at 2 locations upper and lower for each of the 2 numbers of placement area 4.
Male surface 6A (1) at the upper side of cushion member 5A is provided close to cushion member 5B, male surface 6A (2) at the lower side of cushion member 5A is provided at the width center of cushion member 5A, male surface 6A (3) at the upper side of cushion member 5B is provided close to the cushion member 5A, male surface 6A (4) at the lower side of cushion member 5B is provided at the width center of cushion member 5B.
Female surface 6B (11) of the upper side of placement area 4A and female surface 6B (12) of the lower side of placement area 4A where cushion member 5A is placed, and female surface 6B (13) of the upper side of placement area 4B and female surface 6B (14) of the lower side of placement area 4B where cushion member 5B is placed, are set in the corresponding positions to male surface 6A (1), male surface 6A (2), male surface 6A (3) and male surface 6A (4).
Affixed as given: Male surface 6A (1) to female surface 6B (11), male surface 6A (2) to female surface 6B (12), male surface 6A (3) to female surface 6B (13) and male surface 6A (4) to female surface 6B (14), respectively. As explained above, buffer strip 13 at the center of the 5 buffer strips 13 and the overlapping buffer strip 14 are placed such that they are positioned at ischium support part 3 under ischium X when sitting, as shown in
Therefore, in girdle 1 of this embodiment, when walking and moving, gap t allows walking and moving without discomfort, and cushion members 5A, 5B can be removed from girdle body 2. Therefore, attaching cushion members 5A, 5B to placement area 4 of girdle body 2 when sitting on a chair can prevent soreness of the buttocks and darkening around the buttocks. Attachment and detachment of cushion members 5A, 5B is very easy and can be done simply by attaching and peeling off No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6 and No. 2 hook-and-loop fastener 10.
In particular, if No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6 is provided at 2 locations for each cushion member 5A, (5B) as in this embodiment, cushion members 5A, 5B can be easily and securely set at the required position in placement area 4, so that ischium support part 3, 3 are accurately positioned under ischium X when sitting. Although cushion members 5A, 5B are not positioned under the tailbone, by accurately positioning ischium support parts 3, 3 under ischium X, a gap is formed between the tailbone and the seat surface (does not come in contact). Thus, soreness of the buttocks can be reliably prevented. The location for installation of No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6 is not limited to 2 locations with respect to each cushion member 5A, (5B), and can be installed at 1 or 3 locations. The same effect as in this embodiment can be obtained with 3 or more locations, but attachment and peeling off is cumbersome.
Also, when the No. 2 hook-and-loop fastener 10 is peeled off to open the upper-end part 9 of cover 7 and waist region 8 of girdle body 2, cushion members 5A, 5B can be easily inserted from the top of the opening. Conversely, when the No. 2 hook-and-loop fastener 10 is attached to close the upper-end part 9 of cover 7 and waist region 8 of girdle body 2, it is easy to wear (trousers, etc.) without the legs getting caught in cover 7. When washing, the No. 2 hook-and-loop fastener 10 can be peeled off and cushion members 5A, 5B can be taken out for easier drying. Since cover 7 is partly sewn to girdle body 2, cover 7 and girdle body 2 do not get separated, the front and back of cover 7 are not required to be checked after washing, and when No. 2 hook-and-loop fastener 10 is fixed, washing and drying of the girdle can be handled in the same way as an ordinary girdle.
Also, since buffer member 12 is stored inside pouch body 11, by preparing a plurality of pouch body 11 types in advance, for example, pouch body 11 with thicker buffer member 12 and pouch body 11 with softer buffer member 12, etc., buffer member 12 can be selected and used according to the soreness condition of the buttocks. If pouch body 11 is provided with the male surface (or female surface) of No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6, one of the plurality of pouch body 11 types can be selectively attached to placement area 4 of girdle body 2. In this case, the female surface (or male surface) of No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6 is to be provided in placement area 4 of girdle body 2, opposite pouch body 11.
In this embodiment, since the structure consists of buffer member 12 with rectangular buffer strips 13, 14 provided in a row arrangement in the width direction with gap t between adjacent buffer strips 13, 14 and placed in the ischium support part 3 and neighboring area 3A, the appearance of trousers, etc., around the buttocks will be neat even when standing or sitting. In other words, when a wide buffer sheet is used to cover the area corresponding to the ischium support part 3 and neighboring area 3A, the ischium support part 3 is subject to high stress and becomes thin, and the center of the buffer sheet is deformed to the shape of the buttocks, pulling takes place in the surrounding areas of the buffer sheet, where the stress is minor, and deformation is suppressed, either deformation does not take place or is small even if deformation takes place, and the sheets will come away from the buttocks, and appearance of trousers, etc., around the buttocks, is not neat. In comparison, since buffer strips 13, 14 are in the form of rectangular strips in the present invention, it is easy for the rectangular buffer strips 13, 14 to deform, conforming to the buttocks from the center to the ends in the longitudinal direction, and since gaps are provided between the adjacent strips, even if the buffer strips 13, 14 are compressed and spread in the width direction, it is difficult for the spread to interfere with the adjacent buffer strips 13, 14, which gives a neat appearance to the trousers, etc., around the buttocks.
In this embodiment, since 2 layers of buffer strips 13, 14 are stacked in the ischium support part 3, buffer strips 13, 14 can easily absorb the load applied to ischium X. In neighboring area 3A, since there is only 1 buffer strip 13 with fewer stacked layers than ischium support part 3, the edges of buffer strip 13 can easily deform, conforming to the buttocks, which gives a neat appearance to the trousers, etc., around the buttocks.
Since buffer strip 13 at the ischium support part 3, which is near ischium X, is softer than buffer strip 14 that is further away from ischium X, the strong force applied to ischium X is absorbed by the stiff buffer strip 14 and the weak force applied to ischium X is absorbed by the soft buffer strip 13, which enables the force transmitted to ischium X to be reduced, support various types of chairs and is suitable for protecting ischium X. The number of buffer strips stacked at ischium support part 3 is not limited to 2 layers, and 3 layers or more may be provided. Although the buffer strip at neighboring area 3A is not limited to 1 layer, and 2 or more layers may be provided to maintain a neat appearance of the trousers, etc., around the buttocks, the buffer strips should be thinner than the ischium support part 3.
Furthermore, in this embodiment, the force received by buffer strips 13, 14 is transferred to buffer sheets 15, 16 by attaching buffer sheets 15, 16 to both sides of buffer strips 13, 14, and the deformation of buffer member 12 is made gentler than when buffer sheets 15, 16 are not provided, which gives a neat appearance to the trousers, etc., around the buttocks. In this case, as shown in
In this embodiment, since the pair of cushion members 5A, 5B are connected by connecting member 5C, the front and back can be checked with cushion member 5A (or 5B) on one side, and there is no need to check the front and back of respective cushion members 5A, 5B. Also, the 2 cushion members 5A, 5B are not separated, which is convenient as there is no need to search for them and make a pair. Connecting member 5C may be omitted. In this case, cushion member 5A and cushion member 5B of different buffer performances can be attached to the left and right sides and adjusted if the soreness differs between the left and right sides of the buttocks. Even if cushion members 5A, 5B are accidentally dropped when attaching cushion members 5A, 5B to girdle body 2, connecting member 5C can be easily engaged in the crotch area of girdle body 2, which makes handling easy. Even if girdle 1 is worn, for example, in a posture such as while squatting, cushion members 5A, 5B connected by connecting member 5C, do not come apart and spread to the respective sides of the buttocks.
People facing the problem where the body tends to get cold regardless of the season, such as the elderly or persons who are thin due to a disease, for example, such as cancer, or a constitution that prevents them from gaining weight, wearing girdle 1 can have a heat retention effect.
In the embodiment described above, as shown in
Also, in the embodiment described above, buffer sheets 15, 16 and buffer strips 13, 14 that are stacked may be sewn together. In such a case, the seams should extend along the longitudinal direction of buffer sheet 15 (16). More preferably, the seam should extend in the longitudinal direction of buffer sheet 15 (16) at the central side of the buffer sheet (that is, towards the end 15A side of buffer sheet 15) rather than at the center of the width direction of the buffer sheet.
Also, in the embodiment described above, as shown in
Furthermore, in the embodiment described above, cushion members 5A, 5B are attached to placement area 4 of girdle body 2 with No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6; however, the present invention is not limited to only this arrangement. A pocket may be provided in placement area 4 of girdle body 2 as an attachment and detachment means, and cushion members 5A, 5B may be inserted into or removed from the pocket. However, in this configuration, cushion members 5A, 5B will come in contact with the bottom of the pocket. The bottom contact portion of the cushion members 5A, 5B may flex and deform with use over time. There is a possibility that the ischium support part 3 may shift from ischium X. Therefore, providing No. 1 hook-and-loop fastener 6 is preferred, even when pockets are provided in placement area 4.
Furthermore, the male-female type hook-and-loop fastener 6, 10 are explained in the above embodiment; however, the present invention is not limited to this but can be a single type hook-and-loop fastener with no distinction between male and female. Furthermore, any attachment and detachment means may be used as long as the effect (attachment and detachment should be possible) is the same as the hook-and-loop fastener. However, if hook-and-loop fasteners (male-female type, single type) are used as the attachment and detachment means, attachment and detachment is very easy.
While the embodiments described above are intended for girdles that cover from the waist to the thighs; however, the present invention is not limited to only this arrangement and can be applied to girdles of different lengths. For example, the present invention can be applied to a girdle from the waist to the crotch or from the waist to the knees. However, if a girdle has a short length from the ischium support part 3 to the lower side, the length of the cushion member may be reduced, or the shape may be changed.
In the embodiment described above, buffer member 12 is provided with rectangular buffer strips 13, 14; however, the present invention is not limited to only this shape. For example, as shown in
Alternatively, buffer strip 13 may be rectangular as shown in
Furthermore, in the embodiments described above, buffer strip 13 is softer than buffer strip 14; however, the present invention is not limited to this arrangement, and the hardness may be reversed or the same.
The present invention is related to a girdle that does not cause soreness of the buttocks when sitting on a chair, etc., and allows walking without discomfort.
