Claims
- 1. A glass bulb for a cathode ray tube which has an outer side surface in which a two-dimensional matrix code comprised of a plurality of recesses marked by a laser is formed.
- 2. The glass bulb according to claim 1, wherein said two-dimensional matrix code includes at least the information which can identify individually glass bulbs for cathode ray tubes.
- 3. The glass bulb according to claim 1, wherein a ratio of depth/diameter of the recess is in a range of 0.04-0.60.
- 4. The glass bulb according to claim 1, wherein the surface where the two-dimensional matrix code is marked has recesses and projections, and a S/N ratio of an intensity of contrast between light and darkness provided by the recesses and projections to an intensity of contrast between light and darkness provided by the recesses for the two-dimensional matrix code is at least 1.5 times when light is irradiated from a direction of an angle of 5-85° with respect to a normal line to said surface.
- 5. The glass bulb according to claim 1, wherein a mound or a sink having a flat or a nearly flat top or bottom surface is provided in the outer side surface of the glass bulb where the two-dimensional matrix code is formed.
- 6. The glass bulb according to claim 1, wherein at least a portion of the surface where the two-dimensional matrix code is formed is in a state of a mirror surface or a rear mirror surface.
