Abstract
A glove clip assembly includes five components put together such as a tether, a loop, a shackle, and a clip. A tether extends from the operable loop and adjoins to a shackle. The tether is made of different materials and is strong structurally and may be rigid in length or elastic in length. A fastener or adhesive may be used to couple the operable loop to the tether. On the end of the tether there is a shackle held by the tether and optionally a plurality of beads. Lastly, there is a pinch clip being held by the shackle which holds the gloves in place.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention

The present application relates to a device for holding gloves, and more particularly to a removable device used to releasably clip gloves to a user.


2. Description of Related Art

Regular glove clips hold gloves but do not have a sturdy tassel hook or strong paracord to avoid loss of gloves. Regular glove clips are made of plastic and have a pinch clip on each side resulting in loss of glove clip when pulled hard enough. Presently there is no glove clip with a tassel hook, paracord and mini shackle holding the pinch clip. Conventional clips are relatively weak and often break. Although strides have been made, shortcomings remain. It is desired that an assembly be provided that is configured to be stronger and less apt to unintentionally detach from a user or a pair of gloves.


BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is an object of the present application to provide a solution to the loss of gloves and clips. This invention also seeks to improve feel, look and style of glove clips. The invention consists of five components put together to create a stylish glove clip assembly. Included is an operable loop attachment device, such as a tassel hook. A tether extends from the operable loop and adjoins to a shackle. The tether is made of different materials and is strong structurally and may be rigid in length or elastic in length. A fastener or adhesive may be used to couple the operable loop to the tether. On the end of the tether there is a shackle held by the tether and optionally a plurality of beads. Lastly, there is a clip (i.e. a pinch clip) being held by the shackle which holds the gloves in place.


A further object of the present application is to prevent clips from being yanked off the tether. The glove clip assembly of the present application is configured to uniquely couple the tether to the clip to reinforce itself and avoid unintended decoupling. This may be done to include stylish charms and other embellishments to broaden the appeal of the assembly to a variety of users.


Ultimately the invention may take many embodiments. In these ways, the present invention overcomes the disadvantages inherent in the prior art. The more important features have thus been outlined in order that the more detailed description that follows may be better understood and to ensure that the present contribution to the art is appreciated. Additional features will be described hereinafter and will form the subject matter of the claims that follow.


Many objects of the present application will appear from the following description and appended claims, reference being made to the accompanying drawings forming a part of this specification wherein like reference characters designate corresponding parts in the several views.


Before explaining at least one embodiment of the present invention in detail, it is to be understood that the embodiments are not limited in its application to the details of construction and the arrangements of the components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the drawings. The embodiments are capable of being practiced and carried out in various ways. Also it is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein are for the purpose of description and should not be regarded as limiting.


As such, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the conception, upon which this disclosure is based, may readily be utilized as a basis for the designing of other structures, methods and systems for carrying out the various purposes of the present design. It is important, therefore, that the claims be regarded as including such equivalent constructions insofar as they do not depart from the spirit and scope of the present application.

While the embodiments and method of the present application is susceptible to various modifications and alternative forms, specific embodiments thereof have been shown by way of example in the drawings and are herein described in detail. It should be understood, however, that the description herein of specific embodiments is not intended to limit the application to the particular embodiment disclosed, but on the contrary, the intention is to cover all modifications, equivalents, and alternatives falling within the spirit and scope of the process of the present application as defined by the appended claims.


DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Illustrative embodiments of the preferred embodiment are described below. In the interest of clarity, not all features of an actual implementation are described in this specification. It will of course be appreciated that in the development of any such actual embodiment, numerous implementation-specific decisions must be made to achieve the developer's specific goals, such as compliance with system-related and business-related constraints, which will vary from one implementation to another. Moreover, it will be appreciated that such a development effort might be complex and time-consuming but would nevertheless be a routine undertaking for those of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of this disclosure.


In the specification, reference may be made to the spatial relationships between various components and to the spatial orientation of various aspects of components as the devices are depicted in the attached drawings. However, as will be recognized by those skilled in the art after a complete reading of the present application, the devices, members, apparatuses, etc. described herein may be positioned in any desired orientation. Thus, the use of terms to describe a spatial relationship between various components or to describe the spatial orientation of aspects of such components should be understood to describe a relative relationship between the components or a spatial orientation of aspects of such components, respectively, as the embodiments described herein may be oriented in any desired direction.

Several embodiments of the assembly may be presented herein. It should be understood that various components, parts, and features of the different embodiments may be combined together and/or interchanged with one another, all of which are within the scope of the present application, even though not all variations and particular embodiments are shown in the drawings. It should also be understood that the mixing and matching of features, elements, and/or functions between various embodiments is expressly contemplated herein so that one of ordinary skill in the art would appreciate from this disclosure that the features, elements, and/or functions of one embodiment may be incorporated into another embodiment as appropriate, unless otherwise described.


Referring now to the Figures wherein like reference characters identify corresponding or similar elements in form and function throughout the several views. The following Figures describe embodiments of the present application and its associated features. With reference now to the Figures, embodiments of the present application are herein described. It should be noted that the articles “a”, “an”, and “the”, as used in this specification, include plural referents unless the content clearly dictates otherwise.


This invention can be personalized in many ways, but it will be described in one particular form for illustration purposes. The form illustrated is a concept and is not limited herein to any particular embodiment in the industry.


Referring now to FIGS. 1-6 in the drawings, views of a glove clip assembly are provided. The glove clip assembly of the present application includes an operable loop configured to open and close to permit the clasping of any material within an internal volume. One or more methods of opening and closing a door of the loop is possible. Various methods are known in the industry.


As seen in the Figures, the operable loop is shown as a tassel hook 01 with an oval shaped hook. The hook shape can be round, squared, heart shaped, but it is not limited to these shapes and it can be any size or shape commonly used in the paracord/leather craft industry. The tassel hook 01 may be approximately 70.35 mm long and 27 mm wide but it is not limited to this size and it can be any size commonly used in the industry. This tassel hook 01 is made of zinc metal, but it can be made of stainless steel, gold, platinum, silver, aluminum, plastic but it is not limited to these materials and it can be made out of any material commonly used in the paracord/leather craft industry. The loop/hook 01 in the Figures also has a round cylindrical tassel connector that is approximately 17 mm wide, but it is not limited to this shape and size and it can be any size or shape commonly used in the industry. Loop/hook 01 in FIG. 1 is coupled to a first end of tether 03. Loop/hook 01 may be coupled to it via a fastener that passes through two holes 02 on the tassel which accept the fasteners (i.e. two screws). Alternatively an adhesive can be used.


The glove clip assembly of the present application also includes a tether 03. The tether 03 includes a first end and a second end. The first end is coupled to the loop/hook 01. The second end is opposite the first end and is coupled to a shackle 05. As seen in the Figures, tether 03 may be a paracord or any other elongated and relatively flexible member. Examples can be a weave of a plurality of material strands, a paracord, leather, fabric, cable, metallic chain, and other types.


As shown in the Figures, tether 03 is a paracord. The paracord portion 03 is weaved in a round crown sinnet but it is not limited to this weave and can be made using any weave commonly used in the paracord/leather craft industry. The paracord 03 can also be made of different colors and any color combinations. In this embodiment the paracord 03 is connected to the tassel hook 01 with two screws that are drilled through the two holes 02. The paracord 03 can be weaved first then connected to the tassel hook 01 with any amount of screws or it can be weaved after the screws are drilled and then weaved with the cord looped around the screws in a preferred round crown sinnet. The paracord 03 can also be connected to the tassel hook 01 with an adhesive such as an epoxy, glue, cement, or any sticking material used in the craft industry or industrial industry.


The tether 03 is also connected at the second end to a mini shackle 05. The mini shackle 05 is made of 316 stainless steel but can also be made of zinc metal, carbon steel, copper, gold, silver, platinum, plastic, aluminum, but it is not limited to these material and it can be made of any material commonly used in the paracord/leather craft industry. In this example, the mini shackle 05 is a bow shape, but it is not limited to this shape and it can be made in any shape commonly used in the paracord/leather craft industry. In this embodiment, the paracord 03 is connected to the mini shackle 05 by looping around the arcuate portion of the shackle 05 using the round crown sinnet weave and then the ends of the paracord are secured with beads 04 and any type of heat source by heating the paracord ends and pressing inward until the cord hardens. The beads 04 are preferred with a 3.5 mm hole but the hole can be any size and is not limited to any size available in the paracord/leather craft industry. The beads 04 are Tibetan style and round but are not limited to this shape and style, they can be any shape and style commonly used in the paracord/leather craft industry. This embodiment has stainless steel beads 04 but the beads can be made of copper, zinc alloy, aluminum, gold, silver, platinum, plastic but they are not limited to these materials and can be made of any material used in the paracord/leather craft industry. In another embodiment, the paracord 03 can secure the mini shackle 04 with anything with a hole like steel nuts and washers but it is not limited to these items and can be secured with anything commonly used in the industrial industry or craft industry.


It is understood that shackle 05 may be replaced by another device. Shackle 05 is configured to couple to tether 03 and that of clip 07. Shackle 05 may be able to rotate or pivot about an axis (i.e. pin 06). Different artistic designs may be incorporated which could include one or more charms such as skull designs, figures, and so forth. Additionally, in another example, the mini shackle 05 can also not have the beads 04, it can be secured by heating the ends of the paracord and pressing inward until the cord hardens.


In this embodiment the shackle's 05 pin 06 can be unscrewed to connect a pinch clip 07 to the shackle 05. The pin 06 is reconnected to the shackle at one end and then the pin is put through the hole of the pinch clip 07 before screwing back to the other end of the shackle 05. Once the pinch clip 07 is connected to the shackle 05 the glove clip is complete, and it is ready to hold gloves or any object that it can carry. In another embodiment the shackle 05 can also be inverted and it can hold spit key rings to use as a key chain.


The particular embodiments disclosed above are illustrative only, as the application may be modified and practiced in different but equivalent manners apparent to those skilled in the art having the benefit of the teachings herein. It is therefore evident that the particular embodiments disclosed above may be altered or modified, and all such variations are considered within the scope and spirit of the application. Accordingly, the protection sought herein is as set forth in the description. It is apparent that an application with significant advantages has been described and illustrated. Although the present application is shown in a limited number of forms, it is not limited to just these forms, but is amenable to various changes and modifications without departing from the spirit thereof.

Claims
  • 1. A glove clip assembly, comprising: an operable loop;a tether having a first end and a second end, the tether being coupled to a portion of the operable loop at the first end;a shackle coupled to the second end of the tether; anda clip coupled to a pin in the shackle.
  • 2. The assembly of claim 1, wherein the operable loop is an oval shaped hook configured to open and close.
  • 3. The assembly of claim 1, wherein the operable loop is coupled to the tether with a fastener.
  • 4. The assembly of claim 1, wherein the operable loop is coupled to the tether with an adhesive.
  • 5. The assembly of claim 1, wherein the tether is a paracord.
  • 6. The assembly of claim 1, wherein the tether is a weave of a plurality of material strands.
  • 7. The assembly of claim 1, wherein the shackle is a bow shape.
  • 8. The assembly of claim 1, wherein the shackle is coupled to the tether by looping a portion of the tether around an end of the shackle.
  • 9. The assembly of claim 1, wherein the shackle includes beads configured to engage the second end of the tether.
  • 10. The assembly of claim 1, wherein the clip is a pinch clip including a spring extending between opposing arms.
