Claims
- 1. A glycogen polysaccharide substantially free of nitrogenous compounds and reducing sugars.
- 2. The polysaccharide of claim 1, wherein the glycogen polysaccharide is derived from a member of the group consisting of Mytilus edulis and Gallus provincialis.
- 3. The polysaccharide of claim 1 having a carbon content of about 44% to 45%.
- 4. The polysaccharide of claim 1 having a molecular weight of about 2.5.+-.0.1.times.10.sup.6 Daltons.
