Claims
- 1. An isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus glycoprotein M having an amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO:2.
- 2. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 wherein said molecule is a DNA molecule.
- 3. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 wherein said molecule is a cDNA molecule.
- 4. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 wherein said molecule is a RNA molecule.
- 5. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 which is labelled with a detectable marker.
- 6. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 5, wherein the marker is a radioactive label, or a colorimetric, a luminescent, or a fluorescent marker.
- 7. A replicable vector comprising the isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1.
- 8. A host cell containing the vector of claim 7.
- 9. The cell of claim 8 which is a eukaryotic cell.
- 10. A nucleic acid molecule of at least 14 nucleotides capable of specifically hybridizing with the isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1.
- 11. An isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus glycoprotein L having an amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO:23.
- 12. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 11 wherein said molecule is a DNA molecule.
- 13. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 11 wherein said molecule is a cDNA molecule.
- 14. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 11 wherein said molecule is a RNA molecule.
- 15. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 11 which is labelled with a detectable marker.
- 16. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 15, wherein the marker is a radioactive label, or a colorimetric, a luminescent, or a fluorescent marker.
- 17. A replicable vector comprising the isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 11.
- 18. A host cell containing the vector of claim 17.
- 19. The cell of claim 18 which is a eukaryotic cell.
- 20. A nucleic acid molecule of at least 14 nucleotides capable of specifically hybridizing with the isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 11.
