Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention relates generally to golf bag carts and more specifically to a structure characterizing a rock-steady frame, scarcely deforming into collapse.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Prior art golf bag carts have a common structure in FIG. 1, where the upper tube 11 and the handle bar 12 are provided with a joint mechanism 10 in between, and the bottom end of the upper tube 11 and the connecting mount 17 are linked each other. The connecting mount 17 is further linked to the bottom cart stand 16 and the wheel frame 13. The bottom cart stand 16 is provided with a slider 18, which could join the upper tube 11 by a vertical draw bar 19, enabling the link between the upper tube 11 and the slider 18. A crosswise draw bar 14, set up physically between the wheel frame 13 and the slider 18, drives the two rear wheels to fold inwardly the moment that the upper tube 11 is being folded.

The wheel frame 13 and the bottom cart stand 16 are joined perpendicularly by means of the connecting mount 17. Once the golf bag is loaded on the cart and the horizontal bottom cart stand 16 lacks of any load supports in design, the bottom cart stand 16 would sink into deformation, which will further damage the cart frame. This defect definitely requires a great improvement.

The applicant of this invention realized the situation and instructed the inventor to push hardly ahead with the research and design, and eventually gave birth to the present invention.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The objective of the present invention is to provide a golf bag cart having a rock-steady frame and scarcely deforming into collapse, which targets to improve the defects of the prior art.

To accomplish the aforesaid objective, the present invention comprises: a bottom cart stand, having a link segment at its top, and a bag base at its bottom, where the bottom cart stand is provided with a slider thereon; an upper cart stand, in pinned connection with the link segment at its bottom; a rear wheel frame, fixed at each of both sides of the link segment, where the two rear wheel frames and the bottom cart stand together form a pyramid, and the bottom end of the rear wheel frame connects to the rear wheel; a linkage, set up between the upper cart stand and the slide, to link the upper cart stand physically to the slider; a draw pole, set up between the slide and the rear wheel frame, to link the slider physically to the rear wheel frame; a front wheel, positioned under the bag base, having a folding joint, which could level the front wheel; and a lock mechanism, having a core, in pinned connection to the top of the slider, where the upper cart stand and the bottom cart stand are thus fastened to each other; by way of the above structural combination, the folding operation is carried out by releasing the lock mechanism, twisting the upper cart stand and the bottom cart stand to put together closely, and leveling the front wheel; whereas the unfolding operation requires the slider to slide toward the link segment subject to the linking of the linkage, the slider, the draw pole and the rear wheel frame, and the upper cart stand and the bottom cart stand are fastened to each other through the use of the lock mechanism, followed by spreading up the rear wheels; the pyramid, formed by the two rear wheel frames and the bottom cart stand, supports the cart to stand up on the ground, which sufficiently holds the load in the bag, to keep the cart sustainable and to avoid deforming into collapse.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The structural traits and the functioning of the present invention are detailed described with reference to the following preferred exemplified embodiment and the accompanying drawings, which helps the honorable Examiner to have a thorough comprehension and recognition.

Referring to FIGS. 2-6, the figures show the structure of the golf bag cart is symmetric on the left and the right. In favor of comprehension, the following description is subject to merely a single side of the structure.

The present invention comprises: a bottom cart stand 2, having a central link segment 21 at its top and a bag base 22 at its bottom, where the bottom cart stand 2 is provided with a trench 23 at each of the two sides near the link segment 21, for the accommodation of a slider 24, and the bottom cart stand 2 is provided with a spring 25 hidden in its internal, where its one end is joined fixedly to the link segment 21, while the other end to the slider 24; an upper cart stand 3, in pinned connection with the link segment 21 at its bottom; a rear wheel frame 4, fixed at each of the two sides of the link segment 21, with one end joining fixedly to the link segment 21 through the use of the fasteners 212 & 213, and with the other end coupling to the rear wheel 40; a linkage 5, joined to the upper cart stand 3 at its one end, and to the slider 24 at the other end, to link the upper cart stand 3 physically to the slider 24; a draw pole 50, joined the slider 24 with the rear wheel frame 4, to link the slider 24 physically to the rear wheel frame 4; a front wheel 6, joined to a hinge 221 of the bag base 22 through a folding joint 60, where the folding joint 60, shown in FIG. 4, comprises: a body 61, joined to another joint mechanism 20 at its top, where the joint mechanism 20 is coupled to the bottom cart stand 2 at the other end, for providing the bottom cart stand 2 and the front wheel 6 to fold, and the body 61 is provided with an U-shaped clasp trough 62; a sleeve 63, having a protruded pillar 64 at its top, joining front wheel frame 66 at its bottom, and wearing a spring 65 at its outer surface; and a lock mechanism 7, as in FIGS. 5 & 6, comprising a core 70, atorque spring 71 at its middle, pin-connected to the top of the slider 24, with one end having a resilient buckle 72, and the other end a clasp hook 73, for seizing with a triangle-shaped clasp chunk 211, where the clasp chunk 211 is protruded on the link segment 21.

According to the above structure, the folding is carried out by first releasing the lock mechanism 7, which enables the separation of the clasp hook 73 from the clasp chunk 211, followed by turning the upper cart stand 3 forward and downward, shown in FIG. 7, the slider 24 moves forward along the bottom cart stand 2 through the push by the linkage 5, and the slider 24 pulls the rear wheel frame 4 to move forward and inward by the drag of the draw pole 50, which makes the rear wheel 40 to follow suit in moving forward and inward to be folded; the sleeve 63 of the folding joint 60 of the front wheel is pulled out and turned right to lodge the protruded pillar 64 into one end of the clasp trough 62 for a fixing, which enables the front wheel 6 to be leveled, shown in FIG. 8, and through the linking of the joint mechanism 20, the front wheel 6 is turned inward, to be folded under the bottom cart stand 2, shown in FIG. 9. In brief, during the folding of this invention, releasing the lock mechanism 7 comes first, the next step is to twist the upper cart stand 3 and to put closely to the bottom cart stand 2, and the last motion is to level the front wheel 6 for turning inward for the collection by use of the folding joint 60, shown in FIG. 9, to accomplish the folding operation, which substantially eases the use.

On the contrary, once the unfolding is demanded, the front wheel 6 is turned forward first and flipped over to its position, and then turning the upper cart stand 3 up, the slider 24 is thus sliding toward the link segment 21 and the rear wheels 40 are spreading up, subject to the linking of the linkage 5, the slider 24, the draw pole 50 and the rear wheel frame 4; once the slider 24 approaches the link segment 21, the bottom cart stand 2 and the upper cart stand 3 can lock each other, through the clasp hook 73 of the lock mechanism 7 gripping the clasp chunk 211 of the link segment 21.

Among the aforesaid folding and unfolding operations, the traits that deserve to reiterate are as follows:

    • (I.) During the unfolding, the fasteners 212 & 213, used for joining the link segment 21 to the rear wheel frame 4, have an included angle with respect to the ground, shown in FIG. 2, which causes the rear wheel frames 4 and the bottom cart stand 2 to form a steady pyramid that stands on the ground with better support, and can sufficiently hold the bag load, which scarcely deforms into collapse.
    • (II.) The bottom cart stand 2 is provided with a trench 23, matching the slider 24, at each of its both sides, which forms a space between the surface of the bottom cart stand 2 and the slider 24, to avoid the slider 24 to scrape the surface of the bottom cart stand 2 as it slides, where the impairment would deteriorate the looks.
    • (III.) The bottom cart stand 2 is provided with a spring 25 hidden in its internal. During the folding, the slider 24, sliding forward along the bottom cart stand 2, will elongate the spring 25, shown in FIG. 7; on the contrary, the unfolding operation takes advantage of the restored force of the spring 25, to assist the slider 24 to slide along the bottom cart stand 2, which considerably reduce the efforts in the unfolding operation.

From the description in the above, the present invention features at least the following advantages and functioning, which is much creative than the prior art.

    • 1. As the cart is unfolded for carrying the bag load, it has better support that sufficiently hold whatever weight of the load, which maintains the cart frame in a rock-steady manner, scarcely to deform into collapse.
    • 2. The bottom cart stand is from-top-to-down oblique in shape, which features to align the motions of the folding and unfolding operations and the sliding of the slider fully with the orientation of the user's exerted force, which means handling with great ease.
    • 3. The bottom cart stand is provided with a spring hidden in its internal, which offers extra aid to the unfolding operation of the cart, making the move more smooth and easy.

To sum up, the disclosed concrete structure of the exemplified embodiment of the present invention is not only unknown to the prior art, but absolutely can accomplish the expected objective and function, which is construed as novelty and creativeness and is also construed as usefulness, thereby filing the present application herein subject to the patent law.
