1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a golf ball, and more particularly to a golf ball having an enhanced amusement effect.
2. Description of the Related Art
A conventional golf ball 1 in accordance with the prior art shown in
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a golf ball, comprising a ball body having a central portion formed with a through hole.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a golf ball having an enhanced amusement effect.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a golf ball, wherein the golf ball produces whistle like audible sound by provision of the through hole of the ball body during rotation of the ball body after the golf ball is hit, thereby enhancing the playing amusement of the golf ball.
A further objective of the present invention is to provide a golf ball, wherein the golfer can find the location of the golf ball by the audible sound produced by the ball body so as to shorten the time required for searching for the golf ball, thereby facilitating the golfer playing the golf ball.
Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to
The ball body 21 has a central portion formed with a through hole 23. The through hole 23 of the ball body 21 has a substantially circular shape. The through hole 23 of the ball body 21 is extended in the radial direction of the ball body 21 and extended through a whole radial diameter of the ball body 21.
When in use, the through hole 23 of the ball body 21 faces the golfer. Thus, the air passes through the through hole 23 of the ball body 21 during rotation of the ball body 21 after the golf ball 2 is hit, so that the ball body 21 produces whistle like audible sound by friction between the ball body 21 and the air.
Accordingly, the golf ball 2 produces whistle like audible sound by provision of the through hole 23 of the ball body 21 during rotation of the ball body 21 after the golf ball 2 is hit, thereby enhancing the playing amusement of the golf ball 2. In addition, the golfer can find the location of the golf ball 2 by the audible sound produced by the ball body 21 so as to shorten the time required for searching for the golf ball 2, thereby facilitating the golfer playing the golf ball 2.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
