The prior art discloses a golf aiming device that includes a pair of laser light emitters that are arranged on the ground to project aiming lines on a golf ball. The prior art discloses a golf aiming device that includes a plurality of laser light emitters that can be positioned at various locations on a user's body.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a pair of golf shoes. A pair of right laser light emitters is each attached to a respective one of the golf shoes. Each of the right laser light emitters emits a beam of light outwardly from the respective golf shoe to facilitate the user to orient their body properly to aim a golf shot. A left laser light emitter is coupled to a respective one of the golf shoes. The left laser light emitter emits a beam of light outwardly from the respective golf shoe to facilitate the user to orient their body properly to aim the golf shot. A target is coupled to a respective one of the golf shoes and the target is alignable with the beam of light emitted by a respective one of the right laser light emitters.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
A pair of right laser light emitters 30 is provided and each of the right laser light emitters 30 is attached to a respective one of the golf shoes 12. Each of the right laser light emitters 30 emits a beam of light outwardly from the respective golf shoe 12 when the right laser light emitters 30 are turned on thereby facilitating a right aiming line 36 to be projected onto the ground. In this way the right laser light emitters 30 facilitate the user 14 to orient their body properly to aim a golf shot. The pair of right laser light emitters 30 includes a first laser light emitter 38 and a second laser light emitter 40. The first laser light emitter 38 is positioned on the first lateral side 22 of the outsole 16 of the right golf shoe 28 such that the first laser light emitter 38 has target path extending along a line that is perpendicularly oriented with a line extending between the toe 18 and the heel 20 of the right golf shoe 28. The second laser light emitter 40 is positioned on the second lateral side 24 of the outsole 16 of the right golf shoe 28 such that the second laser light emitter 40 has a target path extending along a line that is perpendicularly oriented with the line extending between the toe 18 and the heel 20 of the right golf shoe 28. Each of the first laser light emitter 38 and the second laser light emitter 40 may comprise a light emitting diode or other type of electronic light emitter.
A left laser light emitter 42 is provided and the left laser light emitter 42 is coupled to a respective one of the golf shoes 12. The left laser light emitter 42 emits a beam of light outwardly from the respective golf shoe 12 when the left laser light emitter 42 is turned on thereby facilitating a left aiming line 46 to be projected onto the ground. In this way the left laser light emitter 42 facilitates the user 14 to orient their body properly to aim the golf shot. The left laser light emitter 42 is positioned on the second lateral side 24 of the outsole 16 of the left golf shoe 26 such that the left laser light emitter 42 has a target path extending along a line that is perpendicularly oriented with a line extending between the toe 18 and the heel 20 of the left golf shoe 26. The left laser light emitter 42 may comprise a light emitting diode or other type of electronic light emitter.
A target 46 is provided and the target 46 is coupled to a respective one of the golf shoes 12. The target 46 is alignable with the beam of light emitted by a respective one of the right laser light emitters 30. In this way the beam of light emitted by the left laser light emitter 42 is be oriented collinear with the beam of light emitted by the right laser light emitters 30. The target 46 is positioned on the first lateral side 22 of the outsole 16 of the left golf shoe 26 thereby facilitating the target 46 to be aligned with the target path of the second laser light emitter 40. In this way the target path of the first laser light emitter 38 and the second laser light emitter 40 and the left light emitter 42 are oriented collinear with each other. Thus, the target 46 facilitates the user 14 to visually verify that their feet are properly positioned for aiming the golf shot.
A pair of power buttons 48 is each movably integrated into an upper of a respective one of the right golf shoe 28 and the left golf shoe 26. The power button 48 positioned on the right golf shoe 28 is electrically coupled to each of the first laser light emitter 38 and the second laser light emitter 40 for turning each of the first laser light emitter 38 and the second laser light emitter 40 on and off. The power button 48 positioned on the left golf shoe 26 is electrically coupled to the left laser light emitter 42 for turning the left laser light emitter 42 on and off. A pair of power supplies 50 is each integrated into a respective one of the right golf shoe 28 and the left golf shoe 26. The power supply 50 in the right golf shoe 28 is electrically coupled to the power button 48 on the right golf shoe 28 and the power supply 50 in the left golf shoe 26 is electrically coupled to the power button 48 on the left golf shoe 26. Each of the power supplies 50 comprises a battery 52 that is removably integrated into the respective golf shoe 12 to facilitate the battery 52 to be replaced when the battery 52 is depleted.
In use, the power button 48 on each of the right golf shoe 28 and the left golf shoe 26 is manipulated to turn on the first laser light emitter 38, the second laser light emitter 40 and the left laser light emitter 42. The user 14 positions the left golf shoe 26 to direct the beam of light from the left laser light emitter 42 in the direction the user 14 wishes to aim the golf shot. The user 14 subsequently positions the right golf shoe 28 such that the beam of light emitted by the second laser light emitter 40 strikes the target 46. In this way each of the right golf shoe 28 and the left golf shoe 26 are positioned to ensure that the golf shot travels in the intended direction for increasing the user's 14 accuracy during the game of golf. If the user 14 is a left handed golfer, then the target 46 and the left laser light emitter 42 are positioned on the right golf shoe 28 and each of the first laser light emitter 38 and the second laser light emitter 40 are positioned on the left golf shoe 26.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
