Description
BACK GROUND OF THE INVENTION

1) Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a golf tee used during a golf practice or a golf game, and more particularly to a golf tee set including a golf tee used to play a tee shot after lifting a golf ball by a predetermined height from a ground surface.

2) Background of Related Art

In general, a golf game starts at a tee point for every hole, and a golfer uses a golf tee when playing a tee shot (T-shot) after lifting a golf ball by a predetermined height from the ground surface of a green or a ground, thereby minimizing the interference with the ground surface in swing to increase a driving distance. To this end, the golfer inserts the golf tee into the ground surface to stick the golf tee into the ground surface, places the golf ball on the golf tee, and plays the T-shot.

For example, as shown in FIG. 1, a conventional golf tee 1 is disclosed in Korea Utility Model 20-314179. The utility model discloses the golf tee 1 serving as a long tee when a body support 2 is assembled with a stack support 3 for the use in the state that the body support 2 is linked with the stack support 3 through a string 4, and serving as a short tee when only the body support 2 is used after the body support 2 is disassembled from the stack support 3.

However, when the golf ball is struck by a golf club, the golf tee is separated from the ground surface and flown away due to the strike impact. In this case, since the golf tee is small and thin, the golf tee is not viewed and thus identified. In addition, since the golf tee is light, the golf tee is flown to a farther distance. Further, since the golf tee is not flown in a fixed direction, the golfer must walk a long distance for many hours to retrieve the golf tee. Furthermore, if the golfer does not find out the golf ball, and lose the golf ball, the golfer is displeased with the golf ball, and burden with golf-ball expenses. In order to cope with the loss of the golf ball, the user must carry several golf tees.

Golf tees are classified into a long golf tee, a middle golf tee, and a short golf tee. In the state that a golfer carries at least two types of golf tees selected from among them, the golfer selectively uses a proper golf tee according to conditions of a tee-shot place and a ground. Accordingly, the golfer must inconveniently carry several types of golf tees and use a golf tee having a different size each time. In addition, the golf tees may be lost due to the carelessness of the golfer.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention has been made keeping in mind the problems occurring in the related art and provides a golf tee set capable of preventing a golf tee from being flown away, allowing a user to easily identify and retrieve the golf tee, and preventing the golf tee from being lost by allowing a rubber band having elasticity to cancel the impact applied to the golf tee when the golf tee is struck and to recover the golf tee to the original place thereof.

Two golf tees having different sizes are linked with each other through one rubber band, so that the golf tees can be selectively and conveniently used corresponding to a long strike or a short strike.

In addition, a concave green can be repaired and the direction of a T-shot can be indicated by using a protrusion member.

Further, a ball marker, which is detachably coupled with a divot tool, can be simply carried and used together with golf tees.

In order to solve the problems, there is provided a golf tee set including golf tees including a long tee and a short tee. The long tee includes soft synthetic resin, having a tee body provided at an entire outer peripheral surface thereof with a plurality of blades in a longitudinal direction, and provided at a lower end portion thereof with a pointed insertion member such that the long tee is stuck into the ground surface, a short tee including soft synthetic resin, having a seating part having an upper portion on which a golf ball is placed and a support to support the seating part, and a concave middle portion; and a rubber band having elasticity and linking the long tee with the short tee to prevent the golf tees from being lost after a T-shot.

In this case, the golf tee set further includes a divot tool provided therein with an insertion hole, a marker protrusion of a ball marker provided at a front surface of the divot tool being detachably coupled with a support port, which protrudes from a support plate provided at a rear surface of the divot tool and provided therein with a recess, through the insertion hole, an insertion groove being formed in at least one of the front and rear surfaces, an insertion plate printed with letters or figures being inserted into the insertion groove and attached to the insertion groove, a connection port linked with the rubber band protruding outward.

Further, the divot tool is provided at one side thereof with a protrusion member.

In addition, the protrusion member is biforked

As described above, according to the present invention, the rubber band having elasticity cancels the impact applied to the golf tee when the golf tee is struck, so that the golf tee can return the original place thereof. Accordingly, the golf tee can be prevented from being flown away, can be easily identified and retrieved, and prevented from being lost.

Two golf tees having different sizes are linked with each other through one rubber band, so that the golf tees can be selectively and conveniently used corresponding to a long strike or a short strike.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present inventor recognizes that a golf tee according to the related art may not be easily identified and retrieved, it is inconvenient to carry golf tees having various sizes together, and to carry and use a ball marker as the ball marker is stored and carried separately from the golf tee. In order to solve the above problems, the present inventors have studied and make several efforts. Finally, the present inventor has completed the present invention relating to a golf tee set capable of preventing a golf tee from being flown away, allowing a user to easily identify and retrieve the golf tee, and preventing the golf tee from being lost by allowing a rubber band having elasticity to cancel the impact applied to the golf tee when the golf tee is struck and to recover the golf tee to the original place thereof. In addition, two golf tees having different sizes are linked with each other through one rubber band, so that the golf tees can be selectively and conveniently used corresponding to a long strike or a short strike. In addition, a concave green can be repaired and the direction of a T-shot can be indicated by using a protrusion member. Further, a ball marker, which is detachably coupled with a divot tool, can be simply carried and used together with golf tees.

Hereinafter, the structure of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to accompanying drawings while focusing on embodiments.

As shown in FIGS. 2a to 3, the golf tee set according to the embodiment of the present invention mainly includes a long tee 10, a divot tool 20, and a rubber band 30. The golf tee may further include a short tee 40 and a ball marker 50.

The long tee 10 includes a tee body 11 having a thin thickness in a longitudinal direction, a seating part 12 configured to place a golf ball B on an upper end portion of the tee body 11, and an insertion member 13 having a pointed shape at a lower end portion of the tee body 11. After inserting the insertion member 13 into the ground surface so that the insertion member 13 is stuck into the ground surface, and placing the golf ball B on the seating part 12, a golfer plays a T-shot.

In this case, the tee body 11 is provided on an outer peripheral surface thereof with a plurality of blades 11a in a longitudinal direction to insert the long tee 10 including soft synthetic resin into the ground surface G with a strength so that the long tee 10 is easily stuck into the ground surface.

Preferably, the divot tool 20 includes heavier metal. As shown in FIGS. 4a and 4b, the long tee 10 is coupled to the divot tool 20 through the rubber band 30 having elasticity, so that the rubber band 30 having the elasticity cancels the impact applied to the long tee 10 when the golf ball B is stricken, and thus the long tee 10 returns to the original place thereof. Accordingly, the long tee 10 can be easily identified and retrieved, thereby preventing the long tee 10 from being lost.

In addition, preferably, the divot tool 20 includes a stainless material, so that the divot tool 10 can be used for a long time without rust.

Further, the divot tool 20 is provided therein with an insertion hole 21. A marker protrusion 51 of the ball marker 50 provided at the front surface of the divot tool 20 is detachably coupled with a support plate 23 coupled with the rear surface of the divot tool 20 through the insertion hole 21. The marker protrusion 51 is coupled with a support port 23a, which protrudes from the support plate 23 and is provided therein with a recess, through the insertion hole 21.

In this case, the ball marker 50 is used to mark the location of the golf ball B on a green during the golf game. Conventionally, the ball marker 50 is stored in an additional pocket and carried separately from the long tee 10. However, since the ball marker 50 has the size of a coin, the ball marker 50 must be inconveniently taken out of the pocket for each use in case of necessity, and may be lost. Therefore, according to the present invention, the ball marker 50 is detachably coupled with the divot tool 50, so that the ball marker 50 can be conveniently carried and used together with the long tee 10, and the risk of losing the ball marker 50 can be reduced.

Further, as shown in FIG. 2b, the divot tool 20 is provided in a front surface or a rear surface thereof with an insertion groove 26. An insertion plate 27 printed with letters, photographs, and figures for information transmission, advertisement, and sales promotion is inserted into the insertion groove 26 and attached to the insertion groove 26.

Further, the divot tool 20 is provided at one side thereof with protrusion members 24, and the protrusion members 24 preferably have a biforked shape. Accordingly, the concaved green can be repaired by using the protrusion members 24. In addition, the protrusion members 24 are used to indicate the direction of the T-shot so that the golf ball B may be sent in a target direction when the golfer strikes the golf ball B.

The rubber band 30 links the long tee 10 with the short tee 40 or links the long tee 10 with the divot tool 20 and the short tee 40, so that the golf tees can be prevented from being lost after the T-shot has played.

The impact applied to the golf tee when the golf ball B is struck is canceled by the rubber band 30 having elasticity thereby preventing the golf tee from being flown away. Accordingly, the golf tee can be easily identified and retrieved, and can be prevented from being lost.

Further, in the divot tool 20, a connection port 25 linked with the rubber band 20 preferably protrudes outward. If the connection port 25 is formed inwardly of the divot tool 20, the connection port 25 may interrupt the ball marker 50 from being attached to a groove 22 of the divot tool 20.

In addition, since the short tee 40 is preferably linked with the rubber band 30, the long tee 10 is linked with one end portion of the rubber band 30, and the short tee 40 is linked with an opposite end portion of the rubber band 30.

Additionally, without the divot tool 20, the golf tees may be linked with one end portions and the opposite end portion of the rubber band 30. For example, the long tee 10 may be linked with the one end portion of the rubber band 30, and the short tee 40 may be linked with the opposite end portion of the rubber band 30. Accordingly, two golf tees having different sizes are linked with each other through one rubber band to flexibly correspond to a long strike or a short strike, so that the golf tees may be conveniently and selectively used by placing a golf ball on one golf tee in the state that a remaining golf tee is fixed.

The short tee 40 includes soft synthetic resin. The short tee 40 is provided at the upper portion thereof with a seating member 41 having the upper portion at which the golf ball B is placed. The short tee 40 is provided at the lower portion thereof with a support 42 to support the seating member 41. Accordingly, after placing the support 42 on the ground surface G, the golfer places the golf ball B on the seating member 41 and plays the T-shot.

Finally, in the golf tee set according to the present invention, the impact applied to the golf ball is canceled by the rubber band having elasticity, so that the golf tee can return to the original place thereof. Accordingly, the golf tee can be prevented from being flown away, can be easily identified and retrieved, and can be prevented from being lost. In addition, two golf tees having different sizes are linked with each other through one rubber band so that the golf tees can be selectively and conveniently used corresponding to a long strike or a short strike. Further, a caved green can be repaired and the direction of the T-shot can be indicated by using the protrusion member. The ball marker is detachably coupled with the divot tool, so that the ball marker can be conveniently used and carried together with the golf tees and can be prevented from being lost.

Although an exemplary embodiment of the present invention has been described for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.
