Claims
- 1. A method for growing or increasing lactation of ruminants comprising feeding a granular agent comprising a core granular agent containing a physiologically active substance coated with a coating layer comprising:
- (a) a first coating material composed of one or more substances selected from the group consisting of a fatty acid having 12 to 22 carbon atoms or ester thereof, an animal or vegetable fat and fatty oil or a hardened animal or vegetable fat and fatty oil, having a melting point of 40.degree. C. or higher, and a wax having a melting point of 40.degree. C. or higher, and
- (b) a second coating material composed of tabular crystals of a substance which is sparingly water-soluble under a neutral condition but is readily water-soluble under an acidic condition and which has an average particle size of 5 to 30 .mu.m,
- wherein said coating layer has a laminar structure in which said tabular crystals are arranged in a laminated state,
- wherein said first coating material and said second coating material are in a proportion of 3:2 to 1:3 by weight,
- wherein said coating layer is present in a coating ratio of 5% by weight or more and 50% by weight or less, based on the total weight of the granular agent,
- wherein the dissolution rate of a physiologically active substance of said granular agent is not higher than 50% when measured under the condition consisting of pH 7.1, 39.degree. C. and 18 hours, and the dissolution rate of said substance of said granular agent is not lower than 20% when measured under the condition consisting of pH 2, 39.degree. C. and 18 hours.
- 2. A method for growing or increasing lactation of ruminants comprising feeding a granular agent comprising a core granular agent containing a physiologically active substance as claimed in claim 1, wherein said physiologically active substance is at least one substance selected from the group consisting of an amino acid, a derivative of an amino acid selected from the group consisting of an N-acylamino acid, a hydroxy homologue compound, a hydrochloride salt of an amino acid, an ammonium salt of an amino acid and a sodium salt of an amino acid, a vitamin, a derivative of a vitamin selected from the group consisting of vitamin A palmitate, vitamin A acetate, menadione sodium bisulfite, thiamine hydrochloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride and p-aminobenzoic acid, an enzyme, an animal drug, a hormone, a carbohydrate, a nutrient protein, a microorganism and a mineral.
- 3. A method for growing or increasing lactation of ruminants comprising feeding a granular agent comprising a core granular agent containing a physiologically active substance as claimed in claim 2, wherein said amino acid is at least one substance selected from the group consisting of alanine, glycine, lysine, methionine, tryptophan, arginine, threonine, valine, leucine, isoleucine, histidine, phenylalanine, glutamine, and glutamic acid, and wherein said vitamin is at least one substance selected from the group consisting of vitamin A, .beta.-carotene, thiamin, riboflavin, pyridoxine, cyanocobalamin, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, choline, choline chloride or other choline salt, vitamin C, magnesium salt of L-ascorbyl-2-phosphate, betaine, nicotinic acid, nicotinic amide, folic acid, biotin, and pantothenate.
- 4. A method for growing or increasing lactation of ruminants comprising feeding a granular agent comprising a core granular agent containing a physiologically active substance as claimed in claim 2, wherein said physiologically active substance is at least one substance selected from the group consisting of alanine, glycine, lysine or lysine hydrochloride, methionine, tryptophan, choline chloride or other choline salt, vitamin C, magnesium salt of L-ascorbyl-2-phosphate, betaine, nicotinic acid, and glucose.
- 5. A method for growing or increasing lactation of ruminants comprising feeding a granular agent comprising a core granular agent containing a physiologically active substance coated with a coating layer comprising:
- (a) a first coating material composed of one or more substances selected from the group consisting of a fatty acid having 12 to 22 carbon atoms or ester thereof, an animal or vegetable fat and fatty oil or a hardened animal or vegetable fat and fatty oil, having a melting point of 40.degree. C. or higher, and a wax having a melting point of 40.degree. C. or higher, and
- (b) a second coating material composed of tabular crystals of a substance which is sparingly water-soluble under a neutral condition but is readily water-soluble under an acidic condition and which has an average particle size of 5 to 30 .mu.m,
- wherein said second coating material is at least one substance selected from the group consisting of isoleucine, cystine, methionine and secondary calcium phosphate dihydrate,
- wherein said physiologically active substance is at least one substance selected from the group consisting of an amino acid, a derivative of an amino acid selected from the group consisting of an N-acylamino acid, a hydroxy homologue compound, a hydrochloride salt of an amino acid, an ammonium salt of an amino acid and a sodium salt of an amino acid, a vitamin, a derivative of a vitamin selected from the group consisting of vitamin A palmitate, vitamin A acetate, menadione sodium bisulfite, thiamine hydrochloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride and p-aminobenzoic acid, an enzyme, an animal drug, a hormone, a carbohydrate, a nutrient protein, a microorganism and a mineral.
- 6. A method for growing or increasing lactation of ruminants comprising feeding a granular agent comprising core granular agent containing a physiologically active substance as claimed in claim 5, wherein said amino acid is at least one substance selected from the group consisting of alanine, glycine, lysine, methionine, tryptophan, arginine, threonine, valine, leucine, isoleucine, histidine, phenylalanine, glutamine, and glutamic acid, and wherein said vitamin is at least one substance selected from the group consisting of vitamin A, B-carotene, thiamin, riboflavin, pyridoxine, cyanocobalamin, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, choline, choline chloride or other choline salt, vitamin C, magnesium salt of L-ascorbyl-2-phosphate, betaine, nicotinic acid, nicotinic amide, folic acid, biotin, and pantothenate.
- 7. A method for growing or increasing lactation of ruminants comprising feeding a granular agent comprising a core granular agent containing a physiologically active substance as claimed in claim 5, wherein said physiologically active substance is at least one substance selected from the group consisting of alanine, glycine, lysine or lysine hydrochloride, methionine, tryptophan, choline chloride or other choline salt, vitamin C, magnesium salt of L-ascorbyl-2-phosphate, betaine, nicotinic acid, and glucose.
