Abstract
A grip strap contains: a non-woven layer, an adhesive layer, a gel, and a covering layer. The adhesive layer is adhered on a bottom of the non-woven layer. The gel is applied onto a top of the non-woven layer and includes a thickness. The covering layer is covered on a top of the gel and includes a thickness.
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a grip strap which is wrapped around a handle of a tennis, a badminton, or a fishing rod, or a handlebar of a bicycle by using the gel, thus obtaining flexibility, buffer, anti-slip and fixing functions.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A conventional grip strap has a structure including a flexible layer connected to a surface of a non-woven layer. The flexible layer is made of polyurethane (PU). Thereby, the grip strap is wrapped and connected with a handlebar of a bicycle or a grip of sporting goods (such as clubs, golf clubs, rackets . . . ). However, the grip strap is pressure by the user to cause the flexible layer to be compacted and gradually collapse, thus reducing flexibility, buffer and shock absorption. In addition, when the flexibility layer loses its flexibility, it will be difficult for the user to grasp the grip or the handlebar, and the sporting goods will fall off when being used.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A primary aspect of the present invention is to provide a grip strap which contains a gel formed thereon.

To obtain above-mentioned aspect, a grip strap provided by the present invention contains: a covering layer, a non-woven layer, and a gel defined between the covering layer and the non-woven layer. The grip strap is adhered on an object by using the gel on the non-woven layer, and the object is a grip of sport goods or a handlebar of a bicycle.

Thereby, the grip strap obtains support effect, flexibility, buffer and anti-slip function so that the object is grasped by the user easily and securely to avoid removal of the grip or handlebar. Also, the gel will absorb vibration from the object to the user's hand.

Other objects and features will be in part apparent and in part pointed out hereinafter.

The gel 13 includes a formed thickness 13T on the top of the non-woven layer 11, and the gel 13 is made of flexible material, such as hydrogel or ionogel.

A covering layer 14 is covered on a top of the gel 13 and is made of polyurethane (PU), wherein the covering layer 14 includes a thickness 14T, and the covering layer 14 is made of genuine leather.

A ratio of the thickness 13T of the gel 13 and the thickness 14T of the covering layer 14 is 0.5:1 to 2:1.

The grip strap 10 is wrapped around an object A by using the gel 12, and the object A is a handle or a handlebar of a bicycle.

In a second embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, a grip strap 20 comprises: a non-woven layer 21 connected on an inner surface of the grip strap 20, a flexible layer 22, and an adhesive layer 23. The flexible layer 22 covers a bottom of the non-woven layer 21 and includes a thickness 22T. The adhesive layer 23 is adhered on a bottom of the flexible layer 22. The flexible layer 22 is made of polyurethane (PU).

The grip strap 20 further comprises: a gel 24 applied onto a top of the non-woven layer 21 to penetrate into fibers and bores of the non-woven layer 21, thus adhering with the non-woven layer 21, wherein a penetrated portion of the non-woven layer 21 is denoted by P, as shown in FIG. 2. The gel 24 includes a thickness 24T on the top of the non-woven layer 21.

A covering layer 25 is covered on a top of the gel 24 and is made of polyurethane (PU), wherein the covering layer 25 includes a thickness 25T, and the covering layer 25 is made of genuine leather. A ratio of a thickness of the covering layer 25 and a thickness of the flexible layer 22 is 1:1 to 2:1.

A ratio of the thickness 24T of the gel 24 and the thickness 25T of the covering layer 25 is 0.5:1 to 2:1.

The grip strap 20 is wrapped around the object A by using the adhesive layer 23.

Referring to FIG. 3, a grip strap 30 according to a third embodiment of the present invention comprises: a non-woven layer 31 connected on an inner surface of the grip strap 30 and an adhesive layer 32 connected on a bottom of the non-woven layer 31.

The grip strap 40 further comprises: a gel 33 spacedly arranged onto a top of the non-woven layer 31 to penetrate into fibers and bores of the non-woven layer 31, thus adhering with the non-woven layer 31, wherein a penetrated portion of the non-woven layer 31 is denoted by P, as shown in FIG. 3. The gel 33 includes a formed thickness 33T on the top of the non-woven layer 31. The gel 33 is multiple adhesion bars spacedly arranged onto the top of the non-woven layer 31, wherein a spaced distance between any two adjacent adhesion bars 33 is D1. Alternatively, the gel 33 is multiple adhesion protrusions spacedly arranged onto the top of the non-woven layer 31, wherein a spaced distance between any two adjacent adhesion protrusions 33 is D1.

A covering layer 34 is covered on a top of the gel 33 and a top of the non-woven layer 31, and the covering layer 34 is defined among the top of the gel 33 and the multiple adhesion bars or the multiple adhesion protrusions, wherein a part of the covering layer 34 among the multiple adhesion bars or among the multiple adhesion protrusions of the gel 33 is connected with the top of the non-woven layer 31.
