Claims
- 1. A fluid grout for constructing subterranean barriers under a severed block of the earth which is of sufficient density that the severed block is buoyant in the grout, said grout comprised of a molten wax and a high density additive.
- 2. The fluid grout in accordance with claim 1 further comprised of clay.
- 3. The fluid grout in accordance with claim 2 wherein the clay is comprised of bentonite.
- 4. The fluid grout in accordance with claim 1 further comprised of a surfactant.
- 5. The fluid grout in accordance with claim 1 wherein the molten wax is comprised of a mixture of paraffin and polyethylene.
- 6. The fluid grout in accordance with claim 1 further comprised of a substance that increases the resistance of the barrier to rodent and insect damage.
- 7. The fluid grout in accordance with claim 6 wherein the substance that increases the resistance of the barrier to rodent and insect damage is comprised of at least one material selected from the group consisting of alum, borax, and pepper.
- 8. The fluid grout in accordance with claim 1 wherein the high density additive is comprised of at least one component selected from the group consisting of iron, iron ore, iron oxides, barite, brass, copper, uranium ore, and steel.
