Claims
- 1. A conveyor system comprising:
a vertical support post mounted to a conveyor frame; a rod having a handle at a proximal end, and a guide rail clamp at a distal end, said rod having a longitudinal axis; a tube surrounding at least a portion of the rod, and mounted perpendicular to the support post, the support post being adapted to clamp the tube at any point along a length of the tube; a spring interposed between the handle and a proximal end of the tube; a spacer adapted to be interposed between the tube and the guide rail clamp to selectively space the guide rail clamp at a plurality of positions relative to the tube.
- 2. The conveyor system of claim 1, wherein the spacer comprises first second and third apertures.
- 3. The conveyor system of claim 2, wherein each of the apertures is adapted to space the guide rail at a different position relative to the tube.
- 4. The conveyor system of claim 1, wherein the spacer includes at least one aperture adapted to allow the tube to extend completely through the spacer.
- 5. The conveyor system of claim 1, wherein the guide rail clamp is adapted to hold at least two guide rails
- 6. The system of claim 1, wherein the spring is a compression coil spring.
- 7. The system of claim 1, wherein the support post comprises an opening through which an eyebolt extends, the eyebolt being adapted to receive the tube.
- 8. The system of claim 7, further comprising a handle threaded onto the eyebolt for clamping the tube in the support post.
- 9. A conveyor system comprising:
a vertical support post mounted to a conveyor frame; a rod having a handle at a proximal end, and adapted to support a guide rail at a distal end; a tube surrounding at least a portion of the rod, and mounted perpendicular to the support post, the support post being adapted to clamp the tube at any point along a length of the tube; a spring interposed between the handle and a proximal end of the tube; means for spacing the rod relative to the support post at a plurality of positions along a longitudinal axis of the rod.
- 10. The system of claim 9, wherein the means for spacing the rod comprises a spacer having first, second, and third openings, each opening being adapted to support the rod at a different position relative to the support post.
- 11. The system of claim 9, wherein the spring is a compression coil spring.
- 12. The system of claim 9, wherein the support post comprises an opening through which an eyebolt extends, the eyebolt being adapted to receive the tube.
- 13. The system of claim 12, further comprising a handle threaded onto the eyebolt for clamping the tube in the support post.
