Claims
- 1. A gun sling comprising:
a first strap, said first strap including a first side of an attachment means; a second strap, said second strap including a second side of said attachment means positioned to selectively engage said first side of said attachment means; and means for said first and second straps to engage an upper gun swivel and a lower gun swivel, wherein said first and second straps each have a length adjustment means at a lower end.
- 2. The gun sling of claim 1, further comprising a padded portion near an upper end of said first and second straps.
- 3. The gun sling of claim 2, wherein said attachment means is located on said padded portions.
- 4. The gun sling of claim 1, wherein said attachment means is at least one means selected from the group consisting of snaps, hook-and-loop fasteners, magnetic fasteners, button-and-hole fasteners, zippers, locking plastic strips, and clasp-type fasteners.
- 5. The gun sling of claim 1, wherein said means for said first and second straps to engage an upper gun swivel is selected from the group consisting of a single clip for engaging said first and second straps, a single clip for engaging a single strap, a single triangular loop at said upper swivel and clips for engaging said first and second straps, and a single plate with first and second slots at said upper swivel and clips for engaging said first and second straps.
- 6. The gun sling of claim 1, wherein said means for said first and second straps to engage a lower gun swivel is selected from the group consisting of a single triangular loop at said lower swivel and clips for engaging said first and second straps, a single plate with first and second slots at said lower swivel and clips for engaging said first and second straps, and a Y-strap comprised of a single clip for engaging a single strap at an end engaging said lower swivel and two straps having end clips at an end engaging said first and second straps.
- 7. The gun sling of claim 1, wherein said means for said first and second straps to engage a lower gun swivel includes a clip for each of said first and second straps to provide said length adjustment means.
- 8. A dual-position gun sling, comprising:
a first gun sling with a padded portion at an upper end; a second gun sling with a padded portion at an upper end; means for said first and second gun slings to engage an upper gun swivel; a Y-strap for said first and second gun slings to engage a lower gun swivel, said Y-strap comprising:
a first clip for engaging a single strap at a first end to engage said lower gun swivel; a second strap attached at a first end to a central portion of said first strap; and said first and second straps having end clips at respective second ends to engage said first and second gun slings, wherein said end clips provide a length adjustment means for said first and second gun slings.
- 9. The dual-position gun sling of claim 8, further comprising:
a first side of an attachment means located on said padded portion of said first gun sling; and a second side of an attachment means located on said padded portion of said second gun sling.
- 10. The dual-position gun sling of claim 9, wherein said attachment means is at least one means selected from the group consisting of snaps, hook-and-loop fasteners, magnetic fasteners, button-and-hole fasteners, zippers, locking plastic strips, and clasp-type fasteners.
- 11. The dual-position gun sling of claim 8, wherein said means for said first and second gun slings to engage an upper gun swivel is selected from the group consisting of a single clip for engaging said first and second gun slings, a single triangular loop at said upper swivel and clips for engaging said first and second gun slings, and a single plate with first and second slots at said upper swivel and clips for engaging said first and second gun slings.
- 12. A Y-strap for allowing the use of two gun slings on a single gun, said Y-strap comprising:
a first clip for engaging a single strap at a first end to engage a lower swivel on said gun; a second strap attached at a first end to a central portion of said first strap; and said first and second straps having end clips at respective second ends to engage said two gun slings.
