The present invention is a hair ring. More specifically, the present invention is a hair barrette ring.
Similar products on the market currently such as the Banana Clip offer a miniature flexible clip, but are mostly only suitable for younger children as they cannot hold a large volume of hair without the assistance of a rubber band. Likewise, other comparable products in existence such as the Flexible Comb only provide a string like comb which does provide some elasticity, but ultimately gets tangled too easily and often ends-up tearing out hair altogether when trying to undo the hairstyle it was used for.
What is needed is a hair barrette ring that creates a comfortable fit for thick natural hair styling in a matter of seconds.
The present invention is a hair ring. More specifically, the present invention is a hair barrette ring.
The hair barrette ring includes a base hoop having a first end and a second end, a plurality of elongated hair tongs attached to the base hoop, the elongated hair tongs extend inward and a fastening hook is disposed on the first end of the base hoop, the fastening hook is adapted to align with an aperture disposed on the second end of the base hoop to couple the fastening hook to the aperture and secure the hair barrette ring in place.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a hair barrette ring that features a fully adjustable barrette ring made out of durable plastic for added flexibility, durability and convenience.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a hair barrette ring that the circular barrette structure helps smooth hair while simultaneously grasping any desired amount of thick hair securely in place via the afforded clip.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a hair barrette ring that is so versatile in its design that it functions both in wet and dry environments, ensuring a tangle-free and seamless experience with every use.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a hair barrette ring that is also intended to be offered in supplemental versions in which the standard small to medium size may be upgraded and purchased in a medium to large size.
The present invention will be described by way of exemplary embodiments, but not limitations, illustrated in the accompanying drawings in which like references denote similar elements, and in which:
Various aspects of the illustrative embodiments will be described using terms commonly employed by those skilled in the art to convey the substance of their work to others skilled in the art. However, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced with only some of the described aspects. For purposes of explanation, specific numbers, materials and configurations are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the illustrative embodiments. However, it will be apparent to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced without the specific details. In other instances, well-known features are omitted or simplified in order not to obscure the illustrative embodiments.
Various operations will be described as multiple discrete operations, in turn, in a manner that is most helpful in understanding the present invention, however the order of description should not be construed as to imply that these operations are necessarily order dependent. In particular, these operations need not be performed in the order of presentation.
The phrase “in one embodiment” is used repeatedly. The phrase generally does not refer to the same embodiment, however, it may. The terms “comprising”, “having” and “including” are synonymous, unless the context dictates otherwise.
The hair barrette ring 100 may include a base hoop 110, a plurality of elongated hair tongs 120 and a fastening hook 130.
The base hoop 110 may have a first end 110A and a second end 1108. The base hoop 110 may be made of plastic for inexpensive and easy manufacturing or a piece of jewelry for decorative purposes. The elongated hair tongs 120 may be attached to the base hoop 110 and extend inward. The elongated hair tongs 120 may be equidistant apart and extend inward throughout an inner circumference 110C of the base hoop 110. The elongated hair tongs 120 may have a generally elongated triangular-shape 120A to accommodate holding relatively thick hair. The elongated hair tongs 120 may have a circular ball 122 disposed on each end 120B of the elongated hair tongs 120 adapted to facilitate engaging relatively thick hair. The fastening hook 130 may be disposed on the first end 110A of the base hoop 110 and may be adapted to align with an aperture 132 disposed on the second end 1108 of the base hoop 110 to couple the fastening hook 130 to the aperture 132 and secure the hair barrette ring 100 in place.
