Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The invention is related to hair extension. Mors particularly, the present invention is related to a hair extension tube dispenser, and method for using the dispenser.

2. Discussion of Related Technology

Generally, the hair extension technology connects one or more extension hair pieces to hair of a person or an animal. The extension hair pieces are to make the person/animal's hair look longer or thicker and/or add color accents to the person/animal's hair. The extension hair pieces for hair extension are in various forms and shapes, and include hair weaves, widgets, etc. In this field, typically beauticians or hair stylists provide services of connecting extension hair pieces to hair of their customers. Metal tubes or rings are used to connect extension hair to a customer's natural hair. Handling fine hair strands arid small tubes is a difficult task. A tube dispenser facilitating the repetitive work of attaching extension hair with many tubes has long been in need. The foregoing discussion in this section is to provide general background information, and does not constitute an admission of prior art.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An objective of the invention is to provide a hair extension tube dispenser that facilitates hair stylist's work of attaching extension hair to a customer's hair.

Another objective of the invention is to provide a hair extension method using the hair extension tube dispenser.

In order to achieve the objectives, the present invention provides a hair extension tube dispenser comprising a first wire of a first predetermined length, a second wire of a second predetermined length, a guide end that connects the first wire and the second wire, and a support end that connects the first wire and the second wire and positioned opposite to the guide end.

The hair extension tube dispenser further comprises a plurality of hair extension tubes having a predetermined diameter. The first wire and the second wire pass through the hair extension tubes. The hair extension tubes are placed between the guide end and the support end.

The guide end comprises a first stopper that is connected to the first wire and has a width bigger than the diameter of the first wire, a second stopper that is connected to the second wire and has a width bigger than the diameter of the second wire, and a tapered part that extends from the first stopper and the second stopper.

Preferably, the first wire, the second wire, the guide end are integrally made of an elastic wire.

The support end comprises a fiat strip in which the first wire and the second wire are embedded, wherein the width of the flat strip is bigger than the diameter of the hair extension tube.

Preferably, the predetermined diameter of the hair extension tube is in a range from 2.7 mm to 3.4 mm.

The present invention also provides a method of attaching extension hair to a client's hair using the hair extension tube dispenser. The method comprises steps of (i) choosing strands of client's hair and passing the strands between the first wire and the second wire, (ii) bringing a hair extension tube near the first stopper and the second stopper, and iii) pulling the hair extension tube dispenser, thereby dispensing the hair extension tube from the hair extension tube dispenser, and making the customer's hair strands pass through the hair extension tube.

The method further comprises after step (iii), a step of placing an extension hair into the hair extension tube, and a step of squeezing the hair extension tube with a squeezing tool, thereby fastening the extension hair to the customer's hair.

The advantageous effects of the present invention are: (1) fast and efficient hair extension attachment is possible because tubes are instantly supplied and placed on the location where bonding of extension hair strands to customer's hair strands occurs; (2) accidental falling off of the tubes is prevented owing to the stopper; and (3) the wired structure provides all of the functions of tube storage, customer hair strand guidance and pulling the strands through the tube thereby facilitating customer's DIY hair extension.

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Embodiments will be described in detail below. The accompanying drawings will be used for describing embodiments. For the sake of convenience of illustrating embodiments, thickness, length, diameter, size and other dimensions of components and/or hair would be illustrated or exaggerated to be different with those of actual components and/or hair, and the subject matter of this application is not limited to the illustrated embodiments.

FIGS. 1-9 show a hair extension tube dispenser 10 according to the present invention. The hair extension tube dispenser 10 comprises a first wire 12 of a first predetermined length, a second wire of 14 a second predetermined length, a guide end 16 that connects the first wire 12 and the second wire 14, and a support end 18 that connects the first wire 12 and the second wire 14 and positioned opposite to the guide end 16.

The hair extension tube dispenser 10 further comprises a plurality of hair extension tubes 20 having a predetermined diameter D. The first wire 12 and the second wire 14 pass through the hair extension tubes 20. The hair extension tubes 20 are placed between the guide end 16 and the support end 18.

Referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, the guide end 16 comprises a first stopper 22 that is connected to the first wire 12 and has a width b bigger than the diameter of the first wire d, a second stopper 24 that is connected to the second wire 14 and has a width b bigger than the diameter of the second wire d, and a tapered part 26 that extends from the first stopper 22 and the second stopper 24.

Preferably, the first wire 12, the second wire 14 and the guide end 16 are integrally made of an elastic wire 26.

Referring to FIG. 5, the support end 18 comprises a flat strip 28 in which the first wire 12 and the second wire 14 are embedded. The width B of the flat strip 28 is bigger than the diameter D of the hair extension tube 20 to prevent falling off of the heat extension tubes 20.

Preferably, the predetermined diameter D of the hair extension tube 20 is in a range from 2.7 mm to 3.4 mm.

FIG. 15 shows a method of attaching extension hair to a client's hair using the hair extension tube dispenser. The method comprises step S01 of choosing strands of customer's hair 30 and passing the strands between the first wire 12 and the second wire 14 (FIG. 10), wherein the elastic wires 12, 14 are opened wide by the hair stylist, step S02 of bringing a hair extension tube 20 near the first stopper 22 and the second stopper 24 (FIG. 11), wherein the first stopper 22 and the second stopper 24 provides a suitable temporary stopping point for bringing movement for the hair extension tube 20, and step S03 of pulling the hair extension tube dispenser 10 (FIG. 12), thereby dispensing the hair extension tube 20 from the hair extension tube dispenser 20, and making the customer's hair strands 30 pass through the hair extension tube 20. The tapered part 26 guides the entire dispenser 10 out of the tube 20 attached to customer's hair 30.

After step S03, the method further comprises step S04 of placing an extension hair 32 into the hair extension tube 20 (FIG. 13), wherein the small and solid tip of the extension hair 32 is inserted into the hair extension tube 20, and step S05 of squeezing the hair extension tube 20 with a squeezing tool 34 (FIG. 14), thereby fastening the extension hair 32 to the customer's hair 30.

The hair extension tube 20 may be made of metal that provides fastening of customer's hair and the hair extension tip when it is squeezed, or may be made of heat shrinkage tube that shrinks on application of heat.

These steps are repeated until the desired number of hair extensions are attached to the customer's hair. By holding many hair extension tubes and facilitating dispensing the hair extension tube one by one, and further integrating the wire tool for grabbing hair strands and pulling the strands through the tube, the hair extension tube dispensing tool greatly reduces working time of hair stylist.

Although the hair extension tube dispenser according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention has been described in detail hereinabove, it should be understood that many variations and modifications of the basic inventive concept herein described, which may appear to those skilled in the art, will still fall within the spirit and scope of the exemplary embodiments of the present invention as defined by the appended claims.
