The present disclosure relates to the technical field of hairdressing and styling, and more particularly relates to a hair straightener and curler.
At present, different hair styling devices are required for hair straightening and curling, even for different curling sizes. When hair straightening and hair curling operations are required at the same time, at least two different hair styling devices need to be prepared, resulting in high costs and frequent changes of hairstyling devices, and affecting the work efficiency.
In summary, how to provide a hair straightener and curler capable of both straightening and curling hair is an urgent problem to be solved by those skilled in the art at present.
In view of the foregoing problems, the present disclosure provides a hair straightener and curler, which can realize the switch between hair straightening and hair curling by adjusting a position of a second heating element, such that the hair styling efficiency can be effectively improved and the costs are reduced.
In order to achieve the foregoing objective, the present disclosure adopts the following technical solution:

In the process of using the hair straightener and curler provided by the present disclosure, when the hair needs to be straightened, the second heating element is controlled to retract to the first position, and the highest point of the second heating surface is lower than or flush with the first heating surfaces in the same clamping plate, such that when the two clamping plates are closed, the oppositely arranged first heating surfaces can clamp the hair to achieve straightening; when hair curling is required, the second heating element is controlled to extend to the second position, the highest point of the second heating surface is higher than the first heating surfaces in the same clamping plate; when the two clamping plates are closed, the first heating surfaces arranged opposite to each other can clamp the hair, and further, the hair is wound around the second heating surface of the second heating element, since the second heating surface is higher than the first heating surfaces in the same clamping plate, a bend is formed at the connection between the first heating surfaces and the second heating surface, and at the same time, the hair wound around the second heating surface will have a shape similar to that of the second heating surface to form curled hair.
It should be noted that the first position mentioned in the present disclosure is not a fixed and unique position, but all the positions lower than or flush with the first heating surfaces can be the first positions; and the second position is not a fixed and unique position, but all the positions higher than the first heating surfaces can be the second positions. Therefore, adjustment of an extending length of the second heating element can cause changes in height difference between the second heating surface of the second heating element and the first heating surface, such that curling sizes of the hair in the curling process can be adjusted.
The hair straightener and curler provided by the present disclosure can be used for both straightening and curling the hair, and curling sizes of the hair can be adjusted by adjusting the extending length of the second heating element, such that the same device can have multiple functions, and the hair straightener and curler provided in the specific embodiment is beneficial to improving hair styling efficiency and reducing costs.
