Half moon arch window insert

Abstract

The purpose of this window treatment insert is to block out light and to enhance the decor. The insert can be covered with different types of fabric for a decorative appearance. The window insert is made for arch windows. The window insert is made of foam. The window insert is made with several slits in the foam to decorate at your own preference. The insert is simple, no hardware, and no sewing, gluing, no raw edges. If needed you can cut insert to fit or squeeze to fit. The window insert is two-sided. On one side the insert has at least four even spaced slits at top that meet together at the bottom making a point. On other side of insert there are at least four even spaced slits that meet a half circle slit at bottom. The fabric is pushed firmly into insert slits to make decorative appearance.

Description

The window insert shape appears as a half circle depending on measurements of arch window. The window insert is made for arch windows. The window insert is made of foam. The foam window insert thicknesses can varies from ½ inch to 8 inches more or less. The window insert is made with several slits in the foam to decorate insert at your own preference. The window insert is simple, no hardware, no sewing, and no gluing, no raw edges. If needed you can cut window insert to fit or squeeze to fit. The window insert is two-sided. FIG. 1 has four even spaced slits at top that meet together at the bottom making a point. All though four slits is shown in FIG. 1. It is to be noted, you can have more or less slits.

The fabric can be pushed and tucked into slits to make the design of choice. FIG. 2 has four even spaced slits with half circle slit at bottom. All though four slits is shown in FIG. 2. Claims

1. The arch window insert claim # 1 is made of foam to block out light, enhances your decor; insert shape is almost half circle and is two sided, window insert is made with several even spaced slits on each side, the sizes of the arch insert range from small to large depending on measurements; the width, length, height and depth of arch window.

2. The window insert as described in claim # 1 further compromising the arch window insert has several even spaced slits at the top of insert that come and meet at a point at the bottom center; on one side the arch insert has at least four slits depending on size and design of the arch window.

3. The window insert as described in claim # 2 further compromising on other side of arch window insert has at least five slits, at least four even spaced slits at the top of insert that meet a half circle slit at bottom of insert; all though it is noted the arch insert can have more or less slits depending on size or design of arch window.

4. The window insert as described in claim # 3 further comprising the arch window insert has a slit around the top of the arch of the foam; the slit at top of arch window insert depends on size of arch insert itself.

5. The window insert as described in claim # 3 further comprising the arch window insert has a slit at the bottom of insert: the slit at bottom of arch window insert depends on size of arch insert itself.

6. The window insert as described in claim # 1 further comprising the depth of the foam insert can range from ½ inch in thickness more or less than; all though depth and thickness of foam insert can be as deep as or more than arch window measures.

7. The window insert as described in claim # 1 further comprising the slits on each side of insert are made for fabric to be pushed firmly into for decorative appearance, there is no sewing or gluing of fabric, just cut, fold and tuck into slits for firm and decorative appearance.
