The present invention relates to sports accessories more particularly, a mechanism that combines a scrunches with a towel that allows a person to conveniently remove sweat from the head, neck, face, and other areas of the body, while conducting physical activities, such as running, biking, hiking, lifting, and working.
While exercising people normally perspire and need a means for conveniently removing sweat from the face, forehead, and neck areas. A wristband and headband sometimes cannot accommodate that level of perspiration. Thus, a towel may be required. However, carrying a towel while conducing physical activities 1s inconvenient.
The use of wristbands with removably-attached hand towels is known in the prior art. More specifically, such wristbands with removably-attached towels heretofore devised and utilized are known to consist basically of familiar, expected, and obvious structural configurations, notwithstanding the myriad of designs encompassed by the crowded prior art which have been developed for the fulfilment of countless objectives and requirements.
The present invention provides an alternative design to address the problem of conveniently having a towel accessible that substantially departs from the conventional concepts and designs of the prior art to provide a new and improved design.
The inventive concept of this application consists of a fashionably designed wristband made of a one-size-fits-all stretchable circle of ruffled material which fits over the hand and rests gently but securely in the palm of the user's hand and has an attached mechanism for securing a hand-sized towel for the purpose of easy accessibility (without encumbering the hand and without the necessity of a pocket to carry the towel). The towel may be attached to the scrunches at one or multiple points on the towel. The towel is then available for unfettered usage for mopping or wiping the body or other objects and may be useful when performing various physical endeavors that result in sweating or other need for mopping or wiping with a towel. There are also many other purposes that make this invention fashionable and useful for keeping the towel close at hand without actually using the hand. In its current embodiment, the towel may be easily replaced and is immediately accessible to the hand for instant usage.
These and other details of the present invention will be described in connection with the accompanying drawings, which are not furnished only by way of illustration and not in limitation of the invention.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiment to be described below but may be implemented in various different embodiments. The embodiment is merely provided to disclose the present invention and completely inform those skilled in the art of the spirit of the present invention.

The gathered material (28) can be absorbent or non-absorbent. The gathered material (28) can be made of polyester, terry cloth, silk, cotton, and any synthetic material. To allow for gathering upon the elastic member, the length of the gathered material is at least one and one-half times the length of the elastic member. In the preferred embodiment, it is non-absorbent and made of a fashionable polyester material.

The predetermined circumference of the elastic member is the normal circumference of a wrist which is approximately at least 4 to 5 inches.
The circumference of the gathered material is at least one and one-half times the predetermined circumference of the elastic member. The width of the gathered material is at least one and one=half times the elastic member. The wrist and hand sizes range from small, medium to large.
Although specific features of this invention are shown in some of the drawings and not others, this is for convenience only, as each feature may be combined with any and all of the other features within the scope of this invention.
