Claims
- 1. An article support assembly system for use with a generally cylindrical, horizontal bar, shaft, or handle, comprising:
- an open-ended receptacle having a base and a sidewall which define an interior space for receiving an article therein;
- attachment means integrally formed with and projecting outwardly from said sidewall of said open-ended receptacle; and
- support means having first and second ends, said support means secured to said attachment means at said first end, extending upwardly from said attachment means to circumferentially wrap at least 180 degrees around said generally horizontal bar, shaft, or handle, for frictional engagement therewith, extending downwardly from said generally horizontal bar, shaft, or handle and secured to said attachment means at said second end, thereby securing said receptacle below said generally horizontal bar, shaft or handle.
- 2. An article support assembly system according to claim 1 wherein said attachment means further comprises means for securably mounting said second end of said support means thereto.
- 3. An article support assembly system for use with a generally cylindrical horizontal bar, shaft, or handle, comprising:
- an open-ended receptacle having a base and a sidewall which define an interior space for receiving an article therein;
- attachment means integrally formed with and projecting outwardly from said sidewall of said open-ended receptacle; and
- support means having first and second ends, said support means secured to said attachment means at said first end, extending upwardly from said attachment means to wrap around said generally horizontal bar, shaft, or handle, for frictional engagement therewith, extending downwardly from said generally horizontal bar, shaft, or handle and secured to said attachment means at said second end, thereby securing said receptacle below said generally horizontal bar, shaft or handle;
- wherein said attachment means further comprises a projection for securing said second end of said support means thereto.
- 4. An article support assembly system according to claim 3 wherein said support means has an aperture formed in said second end, said projection of said attachment means being inserted in said aperture to secure said second end of said support means to said attachment means.
- 5. An article support assembly system according to claim 4 wherein said support means engages said generally cylindrical horizontal bar, shaft, or handle along a portion of the surface thereof.
- 6. An article support assembly system according to claim 5 wherein said interior space is sized to receive a beverage container therein.
- 7. An article support assembly system for use with a generally cylindrical, horizontal bar, shaft, or handle comprising:
- an open-ended receptacle having a base and a sidewall which define an interior space for receiving an article therein;
- attachment means integrally formed with an projecting outwardly from said sidewall of said open-ended receptacle; and
- support means having first and second ends, said support means secured to said attachment means at said first end, extending away from said attachment means to circumferentially wrap at least 180 degrees around said generally cylindrical, horizontal bar, shaft, or handle, for frictional engagement therewith, extending towards said generally cylindrical, horizontal bar, shaft, or handle and secured to said attachment means at said second end, thereby securing said receptacle to said generally cylindrical, horizontal bar, shaft or handle.
- 8. An article support assembly system for use with a generally cylindrical, elongated bar, shaft, or handle, comprising:
- an open-ended receptacle having a base and a sidewall which define an interior space for receiving an article therein;
- attachment means integrally formed with and projecting outwardly from said sidewall of said open-ended receptacle; and
- support means having first and second ends, said support means secured to said attachment means at said first end, extending away from said attachment means to circumferentially wrap at least 180 degrees around said generally cylindrical, elongated bar, shaft, or handle, for frictional engagement therewith, extending towards said generally cylindrical, elongated bar, shaft, or handle and secured to said attachment means at said second end, thereby securing said receptacle to said generally cylindrical, elongated bar, shaft or handle.
