The present invention relates to a hard luggage case, and more particularly to a hard luggage case with an integrally formed bottom portion for mounting of wheels.
As shown in
The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.
The present invention is aimed at providing a hard luggage case which consists of a case body and a bottom portion, four connecting ends are formed at the same level at the bottom portion, so as to improve the accuracy of installation of the wheels, and ensure that the wheels are maintained at the same level.
The present invention is further aimed at providing a hard luggage case, wherein the case body is an integral unitary structure, which further strengthens the structure of the bottom portion of the luggage case, and the luggage case is less likely to fall or tilt over.
Therefore, a hard luggage case in accordance with the present invention comprises:
a hard case body including: a top portion, a bottom portion, a left lateral portion, a right lateral portion, a connecting portion and a back portion, wherein the top portion and the bottom portion are connected to the left lateral portion, the right lateral portion and the back portion, the connecting portion is connected to the left lateral portion, the right lateral portion and the bottom portion, a height of the connecting portion is smaller than that of the back portion, so as to form an opening above the connecting portion, the case body includes an inner space, and the opening communicates with the inner space, the bottom portion is an independent unitary structure and includes a plurality of connecting ends;
a cover pivoted to an edge of the opening of the case body;
a connecting assembly disposed at corresponding positions on the cover and the case body to connect the cover to the case body; and
plural wheels disposed at the connecting ends of the case body.
Preferably, the connecting portion extends horizontally outwards from the bottom portion by a width and then extends upwards by a height, and an arc-shaped concave portion is located at lower end of each of two lateral edges of the opening to connect the connecting portion.
Preferably, the cover is pivoted to the edge of the opening of the case body by the connecting assembly. The connecting assembly can be a zipper, a clipping assembly, a magnetic assembly or locking member.
These together with other objects of the invention, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the invention, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure. For a better understanding of the invention, its operating advantages and the specific objects attained by its uses, reference should be had to the accompanying drawings and descriptive matter in which there are illustrated preferred embodiments of the invention.
The present invention will be clearer from the following description when viewed together with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
Referring to
The case body 10 includes a top portion 100, a bottom portion 101, a left lateral portion 102, a right lateral portion 103, a connecting portion 31 and a back portion 104. The top portion 100 and the bottom portion 101 are connected to the left lateral portion 102, the right lateral portion 103 and the back portion 104. The connecting portion 31 is connected to the left lateral portion 102, the right lateral portion 103 and the bottom portion 101. The height of the connecting portion 31 is smaller than that of the back portion 104, so as to form an opening 11 above the connecting portion 31. The case body 10 includes an inner space 12, and the opening 11 communicates with the inner space 12. The bottom portion 101 is an independent unitary structure and includes a plurality of connecting ends 32, and each of the connecting ends 32 is in the form of a cavity formed at each of the four corners of the bottom portion 101. The back portion 104 is provided with a draw bar 20.
In this embodiment, the connecting portion 31 extends horizontally outwards from the bottom portion 101 by a width W and then extends upwards by a height H, as shown in
The cover 40 is pivoted to the edge of the opening 11 of the case body 10 by the connecting assembly 41. The design of the arc-shaped concave portion 120 greatly facilitates the assembling of the cover 40, and the connecting assembly 41 can be disposed at different positions according to the direction the cover 40 opens. For example, as shown in
The four wheels 50 are disposed at the four connecting ends 32 of the bottom portion 101.
The key characteristic of the present invention is the improvement to the case body 10. The case body 10 is an integral structure, there is the connecting portion 31 of H height at the lower end of the opening 11 to connect the bottom portion 101. The four connecting ends 32 of the bottom portion 101 are in the form of cavities which have the same depth, and each of the connecting ends 32 is provided with the same wheel 50, so that the wheels 50 can be maintained at the same level.
Besides, since the case body 10 is an integral unitary structure provided with the connecting portion 31, the design of the connecting portion 31 can improve the anti-collision strength of the case body 10, strengthen the structure strength of the bottom portion 101 of the case body 10, and enable the luggage case to stand firmly without falling.
Furthermore, the inner space 12 of the case body 10 is provided for carry objects, the draw bar 20 allows the user to pull the luggage case, and the cover 40 is connected to the edge of the opening 11 by the connecting assembly 41. The connecting assembly 41 ensures that the cover 40 is locked to the case body 10, which prevents the opening of the cover 40 during transportation of the luggage case, consequently preventing dropping of the objects from the inner space 12 of the case body 10.
When the luggage case is big, with the wheels 50 directly mounted to the bottom portion 101 of the case body 10, forces will all be acted directly on the wheels 50, which improves the stability and smoothness when the case body 10 moves or stands upright. The luggage case is less likely to fall or tilt over since the ground contact area is increased. Besides, since the bottom portion 101 covers the wheels 50 of the case body 10, the bottom structure strength of the case body 10 is strengthened.
While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it is clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
