Abstract
The heat resistant pocket insert allows users, such as cosmetologists, to place hot tools in pockets safely without getting burned so they may free both hands for parting or applying product. The heat resistant pocket insert is removable so it may be cleaned and replaced in between uses to avoid cross contamination. The heat resistant pocket insert can save time during hairstyling which ultimately gives cosmetologists an opportunity to make more money and provides them a more ergonomic option to complete services.
Description

The heat resistant pocket insert is made to fit inside an apron pocket. The purpose of the heat resistant pocket insert is to give cosmetologists a safe, close place to put hot tools during portions of the service where they may need their hands free for parting or product application. The heat resistant aspect of the pocket insert is achieved by a combination of coil fabric and hard fusing fabric. This pocket insert will allow cosmetologists and other users to store hot tools that can go upwards of 450° F. in their pockets while styling hair to give a more ergonomic and time efficient way to complete their style. The pocket inserts are removable so they may be cleaned in between uses to avoid cross contamination.

The hand drawn picture of the heat resistant pocket insert accompanying this application demonstrates a rectangular insert that has an open top that works as a heat resistant pocket inside your apron pocket. The pocket insert is made to fit into the apron pockets snug enough to ensure security while being flexible enough to allow regular movements such as bending because it is made from a combination of heat resistant flexible fabrics. The heat resistant pocket insert covers the entirety of the inside of the apron pocket to protect the user from the heat of the hot tools while they store them in their pockets during parting or product application to reduce the amount of time and movement it takes to complete a style.
