Claims
- 1. A heat transfer sheet comprising:
- a support;
- a protective layer formed releasably on the support, the protective layer having a hologram comprising a hologram forming layer and a hologram effect layer formed on a relief surface of the hologram effect layer, the hologram effect layer comprising a material having sufficient transparency with high reflecting properties at a certain angle and being different in index of refraction from the hologram forming layer.
- 2. The heat transfer sheet according to claim 1, wherein the hologram forming layer comprises a thermoplastic resin capable of being cured upon exposure to ionizing radiation.
- 3. The heat transfer sheet according to claim 1, wherein the protective layer is formed on the support through a release layer.
- 4. A method for preparing a recorded material, comprising the steps of:
- recording information on a substrate by heat transfer recording; and
- forming a protective layer on the surface of the thus recorded information by transferring the protective layer by means of the heat transfer sheet recited in claim 1.
- 5. The method according to claim 4, wherein the substrate comprises a card.
- 6. The method according to claim 5, wherein the card comprises a center core comprising polyvinyl chloride containing a white pigment and transparent polyvinyl chloride layers laminated on both sides of the center core.
- 7. The method according to claim 4, wherein the information is formed with a sublimable dye.
- 8. A heat transfer recording medium comprising:
- a substrate;
- information formed on a substrate by heat transfer recording; and
- a protective layer formed on the formed information, the protective layer having a hologram comprising a hologram forming layer and a hologram effect layer formed on a relief surface of the hologram forming layer and an adhesive layer formed on the hologram effect layer, the hologram effect layer comprising a material having sufficient transparency with high reflecting properties at a certain angle and being different in index of refraction from the hologram forming layer.
- 9. The heat transfer recording medium according to claim 8, wherein the substrate comprises a card.
- 10. The heat transfer recording medium according to claim 8, wherein the hologram effect layer is transparent.
- 11. The heat transfer recording medium according to claim 9, wherein the card comprises a center core comprising polyvinyl chloride containing a white pigment and transparent polyvinyl chloride layers laminated on both sides of the center core.
- 12. The heat transfer recording medium according to claim 8, wherein a surface protecting film is further provided on the protective layer.
