Claims
- 1. A heat transfer image-receiving sheet comprising:
- a substrate sheet; and
- a dye receiving layer formed on at least one side of said substrate sheet, said dye receiving layer comprising a dyeable resin and an ultraviolet absorber.
- 2. The image-receiving sheet as claimed in claim 1, wherein said image-receiving layer containing a releasing agent for preventing adhesion of a heat transfer sheet to the image-receiving sheet upon heating thereof by a heating means.
- 3. The image-receiving sheet as claimed in claim 2, wherein said releasing agent comprises a hardened-type silicone oil.
- 4. The image-receiving sheet as claimed in claim 3, wherein said hardened-type silicone oil is selected from the group consisting of reaction-hardened silicone oils, photo-hardened silicone oils, and catalyst-hardened silicone oils.
- 5. The image-receiving sheet as claimed in claim 1, wherein said dyeable resin of the image-receiving layer is selected from the group consisting of resins having ester linkage, resins having urea linkage and resins having highly polar linkage.
- 6. The image-receiving sheet as claimed in claim 1, wherein said dyeable resin of the image-receiving layer is selected from the group consisting of synthetic resins having a glass transition temperature of from -100.degree. to 20.degree. C. while having a polar group, synthetic resins having a glass transition temperature of at least about 40.degree. C. and mixtures thereof.
- 7. The image-receiving sheet as claimed in claim 1, wherein said dye of the heat transfer layer has a molecular weight ranging from about 150 to 400.
- 8. The image-receiving sheet as claimed in claim 1, wherein said image-receiving layer comprises two layers, a first layer provided on said substrate and comprising the synthetic resin and a second layer provided on the first layer and comprising the releasing agent.
- 9. The image-receiving sheet as claimed in claim 8, wherein said releasing agent comprises a hardened-type silicone oil.
- 10. The image-receiving sheet as claimed in claim 9, wherein said hardened-type silicone oil is selected from the group consisting of reaction-hardened silicone oils, photo-hardened silicone oils, and catalyst-hardened silicone oils.
- 11. The image-receiving sheet as claimed in claim 8, wherein said dyeable resin of the image-receiving layer is selected from the group consisting of resins having ester linkage, resins having urethane linkage, resins having amide linkage, resins having urea linkage and resins having highly polar linkage.
- 12. The image-receiving sheet as claimed in claim 8, wherein said dyeable resin of the image-receiving layer is selected from the group consisting of synthetic resins having a glass transition temperature of from -100.degree. to 20.degree. C. while having a polar group, synthetic resins having a glass transition temperature of at least about 40.degree. C. and mixtures thereof.
- 13. The image-receiving sheet as claimed in claim 8, wherein said dye of the heat transfer layer has a molecular weight ranging from about 150 to 400.
