It has been about six years since I have moved to my new apartment and from the start I had a big problem with moisture, mold and cold temperature in both of my bathrooms. I have used electric heater which solved part of a problem, but it did not enhance a quality of an air. So I have started to think what can I do to remedy this problem.
That is how I have thought out this idea. It does solve a problem with high humidity, moisture, removes cold temperature in the winter, and creates healthy condition. It is making the air in a bathroom healthy and fresh. You should always keep the door to a bathroom closed and keep the germs inside. I saw in so many condominiums and houses that a kitchen is so close to a full bathroom or a powder room. My idea improves these conditions, so you can keep bathroom doors closed all the time.

The fan is installed above a bathroom door, in a wall, and “pumps” inside a bathroom an air which accumulates close to a ceiling. This makes a moisture and water around a bathtub disappear fast. My fan, which is installed in a Master Bathroom, is so quiet (19 decibels) that I can sleep without a problem. The original fan which is installed when a house or a condo is built “pumps” the air from bathroom to a chimney, but when I was taking a shower my mirror was fogged always in a matter of minutes. With my new fan which “pumps” a fresh, warm and dry air 50 cfm (cubic feet a minute) to a bathroom and the original around 60 cfm to a chimney, the air circulates 100% and you will never have a fogged mirror and a part of a moisture escapes from a bathroom in a few minutes. Because of all of this a mold is not growing inside a bathroom. For example, one of my bathrooms is around 350 cubic feet and the total time for 100% exchange of air would take only seven minutes. The installation of my idea, for a professional electrician, is easy and it takes around half a day. My Axial fan is 115 Volts AC, 4W, 50/60 Hz with the maximum speed 1450 rpm a minute. The noise is 19 db, “pumping” 50 CFM of air. The warranty is 70,000 Hr, the fan has ball bearings, and the cost of running the fan non-stop 24/7 days per year is less then 3 dollars. I am protecting my whole electrical circuit with time-delay ¼ Amp, 115 VAC fuse and I am adding fan speed slider switch (115 VAC) to control the rpm from Off position to maximum speed 1450 rpm. The dimension of the fan is 4¾″×4¾″, and the thickness is 1½″, and the added parts (placed outside the fan) “Fan Guards” are 7¼″×6¼″.
