A pedestal has a circular base and two spaced apart sloped parallel ramps which extend from one side of the base to the other side; The upper surface of the ramps defines a series of stepped teeth; The spacing between the ramps can receive a joist between the ramps with its longitudinal axis parallel to the ramps; A chock extends between the two ramps and has an underside which defines stepped teeth which mate with the teeth of the ramps and secure the chock in position on the ramps; The position of the chock is adjustable along the ramps.
The broken lines and unshaded surfaces bound by broken lines in the reproductions form no part of the claimed design.
