Claims
- 1. A height adjustable table leg comprising:an upper tubular member; a lower tubular member telescopingly received within the upper tubular member; a strip attached to the lower tubular member, said strip having a series of undulations and apertures; and a handle having a cam portion at a first end pivotably supported on said upper tubular member, said cam portion having a peripheral configuration complementary to each one of said series of undulations of said strip to selectively engage and disengage said series of undulations and said handle also having a projection at a second end for selectively engaging and disengaging said apertures wherein said lower tubular member is lockable to said upper tubular member.
- 2. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein:each of said apertures is located in the center of a respective undulation.
- 3. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein:said handle includes a looped finger engaging portion.
- 4. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein:said strip is formed of plastic.
- 5. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein:each of said series of undulations is spaced-apart approximately one inch from an adjacent undulation.
- 6. The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein:each of said apertures is located in the center of a respective undulation; said handle includes a finger engaging portion; and said strip is formed of plastic.
- 7. The apparatus as claimed in claim 6 wherein:each of said series of undulations is spaced-apart approximately one inch from an adjacent undulation.
