Further, said tenon inserted inside said outer tube can move said outer tube axially upward, rotations of said outer tube can bring said tenon to be rotated.

Further, said fixture includes a bolt axially extended along said inner tube, said tenon and said mortise are fit through said bolt in order.

Further, an outer side of said tenon is equipped with a second nut for positioning said tenon in position without further advancement.

Further, a first nut disposed between said tenon and said mortise for securing said second nut to said mortise.

Further, a gasket is disposed between said mortise and said tenon.

A height adjustable table or chair includes a supporting surface and an extendable rod installed below said supporting surface; said extendable rod comprises an inner tube, an outer tube fit over said inner tube, a fixture securing said outer tube to said inner tube; characterized in that: said fixture is disposed to a proximal end of said inner tube; said fixture includes a mortise and a tenon, said tenon rotatably inserts inside said mortise to enlarge a wall of said mortise.

Further, said tenon inserted inside said outer tube can move said outer tube axially upward, rotations of said outer tube can bring said tenon to be rotated.

Further, said fixture includes a bolt axially extended along said inner tube, said tenon and said mortise are fit through said bolt in order.

Further, said extendable rod includes a first, second nuts, and a gasket, said gasket, said mortise and said first nut are fit through said bolt in order.

Advantages and benefits of the embodiments of the present invention is said tenon inserted inside said mortise to enlarge a wall of said mortise, the wall is extruded and fixed to an inner wall of said outer tube. Said inner tube is movably secured to said outer tube. Said extendable rod is designed with a simple structure, which is easy to assemble, saving space and transportation cost.

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

The description is described in detail according to the appended drawings hereinafter.

As shown in FIGS. 1-5, an extendable rod (100) includes an inner tube (1), an outer tube (2) fit over said inner tube (1) and a fixture (3) secures said outer tube (2) to said inner tube (1); a remote end of said outer tube (2) is secured to the bottom of a supporting surface (21), a rubber bushing (4) and a base pad (5) are disposed to a remote end of said inner tube (1); said fixture (3) is disposed to a proximal end (11) of said inner tube (1); said fixture (3) includes a tenon (32) and a mortise (31), said tenon (32) rotatably inserts in said mortise (31) to enlarge a wall of said mortise (31). Said tenon inserted inside said outer tube (2) can move said outer tube (2) axially upward, rotations of said outer tube (2) can bring said tenon (32) to be rotated.

Said fixture (3) includes a bolt (33) disposed axially along said inner tube (1), said mortise (31) said tenon (32) fit through said bolt (33) in order. An outer side of said tenon (32) is equipped with a second nut (35) for positioning said tenon (32) in position without further advancement. A first nut (34) disposed between said tenon (32) and said mortise (31) for securing said second nut (35) to said mortise (31). A gasket (36) is disposed between said mortise (31) and said inner tube (1).

Said extendable rod (100) is characteristic of a fixture (3) disposed to said proximal end (11) of said inner tube (1), said fixture (3) is movable relative to said outer tube (2), but moved with said inner tube (1). When a certain height is demanded, the tenon (32) on the fixture (3) is rotated and inserted inside the mortise (31), where the wall of mortise (31) is extruded to be enlarged by said insertion; the wall is further fixed to an inner wall of the outer tube (2). Thus, said inner tube (1) is fixed to the outer tube (2) relative to the outer tube (2). And a height of said extendable rod is determined. Said mortise (31) is fixed to the bolt (33), said tenon (32) is extendably moved by said outer tube (2) along the bolt (33).

A seat/table (200) with said extendable rod (100) comprises a supporting surface (21) and said extendable rods (100) installed below said supporting surface (21); each of said extendable rods (100) includes an inner tube (1), an outer tube (2) fit over said inner tube (1) and a fixture (3) secures said outer tube (2) to said inner tube (1); said fixture (3) is disposed to a proximal end of said inner tube (1); said fixture (3) includes a tenon (32) and a mortise (31), said tenon (32) rotatably inserts in said mortise (31) to enlarge a wall of said mortise (31). Said tenon (32) inserted inside said outer tube can move said outer tube axially upward, rotations of said outer tube can bring said tenon to be rotated.

Said extendable rod includes a first, second nuts, and a gasket, said gasket, said mortise and said first nut are fit through said bolt in order.

Said tenon inserted inside said mortise to enlarge a wall of said mortise, the wall is extruded and fixed to an inner wall of said outer tube. Said inner tube is movably secured to said outer tube. Said extendable rod is designed with a simple structure, which is easy to assemble, uses space economically to save transportation cost.
