Abstract
A herbicide composition for paddy field characterized by containing (a) a herbicidal difluoromethanesulfonamide derivative represented by the formula (I)
Description
Claims
  • 1. A herbicide composition for a paddy field characterized by comprising a combination of components (a), (b) and/or (c), wherein is one or more difluoromethanesulfonamide derivatives represented by the formula (I),
  • 2. A composition according to claim 1, characterized in that X represents fluorine or chlorine,Y represents CH or N,R1 represents hydrogen, andR2 represents hydrogen or hydroxy, orR1 and R2 together form C═O with the carbon atom to which they are bonding, in the formula (I).
  • 3. A composition according to claim 2, characterized in that X represents fluorine or chlorine,Y represents CH,R1 represents hydrogen, andR2 represents hydrogen or hydroxy.
  • 4. A composition according to claim 3, characterized in that the herbicidal compounds (b) are selected from the group consisting of (b-1) anilofos, (b-2) pretilachlor, (b-3) cafenstrole, (b-4) cyhalofop-butyl, (b-5) penoxsulam, (b-6) pyraclonil, (b-7) bispyribac-sodium, (b-8) fentrazamide, (b-9) mefenacet, (b-10) oxaziclomefone, (b-11) benfuresate, (b-12) bensulfuron-methyl, (b-13) ethoxysulfuron, (b-14) bromobutide and (b-15) AVH301.
  • 5. A composition according to claim 3, characterized in that the safener compound (c) is selected from the group consisting of dymron (c-1), mefenpyr-diethyl (c-2) and isoxadifen (c-3).
  • 6. A composition according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises one or more herbicidal compounds (b) in the range of 0.05-200 parts by weight to 1 part by weight of the compound (a).
  • 7. A composition as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that it comprises one or more herbicidal compounds (b) in the range of 0.05-200 parts by weight to 1 part by weight of the compound (a).
  • 8. A composition as claimed in claim 3, characterized in that it comprises one or more herbicidal compounds (b) in the range of 0.05-200 parts by weight to 1 part by weight of the compound (a).
  • 9. A composition as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that it comprises one or more herbicidal compounds (b) in the range of 0.05-200 parts by weight to 1 part by weight of the compound (a).
  • 10. Method for controlling weeds in a paddy field which comprises applying to the weeds, parts of the weeds, weed seeds or their habitat, optionally in the presence of a crop, a combination of a herbicide (a) and a herbicide (b), ora herbicide (a) and a safener (c), ora herbicide (a), a herbicide (b) and a safener (c),wherein the components (a), (b) and (c) of the specific combination are applied simultaneously or sequentially, and wherein the components are defined as in claim 1.
  • 11. Method as claimed in claim 10, characterized in that X represents fluorine or chlorine,Y represents CH or N,R1 represents hydrogen, andR2 represents hydrogen or hydroxy, orR1 and R2 together form C═O with the carbon atom to which they are bonding, in the formula (I).
  • 12. Method as claimed in claim 11, characterized in that X represents fluorine or chlorine,Y represents CH,R1 represents hydrogen, andR2 represents hydrogen or hydroxy.
  • 13. Method as claimed in claim 12, characterized in that the herbicidal compounds (b) are selected from the group consisting of (b-1) anilofos, (b-2) pretilachlor, (b-3) cafenstrole, (b-4) cyhalofop-butyl, (b-5) penoxsulam, (b-6) pyraclonil, (b-7) bispyribac-sodium, (b-8) fentrazamide, (b-9) mefenacet, (b-10) oxaziclomefone, (b-11) benfuresate, (b-12) bensulfuron-methyl, (b-13) ethoxysulfuron, (b-14) bromobutide and (b-15) AVH301.
  • 14. Method as claimed in claim 12, characterized in that the safener compound (c) is selected from the group consisting of dymron (c-1), mefenpyr-diethyl (c-2) and isoxadifen (c-3).
  • 15. Method as claimed in claim 10, wherein the crop is rice.
  • 16. Method according to claim 10, characterized in that it comprises one or more compounds (c) as a safener in the range of 0.05-200 parts by weight to 1 part by weight of the compound (a).
  • 17. Method according to claim 11, characterized in that it comprises one or more compounds (c) as a safener in the range of 0.05-200 parts by weight to 1 part by weight of the compound (a).
  • 18. Method according to claim 12, characterized in that it comprises one or more compounds (c) as a safener in the range of 0.05-200 parts by weight to 1 part by weight of the compound (a).
  • 19. Method according to claim 13, characterized in that it comprises one or more compounds (c) as a safener in the range of 0.05-200 parts by weight to 1 part by weight of the compound (a).
