Claims
- 1. A compound selected from the group characterized by the formulae: ##STR24## where R is H, OH, OCH.sub.3, OC.sub.2 H.sub.5 or ##STR25## ##STR26## where R is H, OH, OCH.sub.3, OC.sub.2 H.sub.5 or ##STR27## ##STR28## where R is H, OH, OCH.sub.3, OC.sub.2 H.sub.5 or ##STR29## ##STR30## where R is H, OH, OCH.sub.3, OC.sub.2 H.sub.5 or ##STR31## ##STR32## where R is H, OH, OCH.sub.3, OC.sub.2 H.sub.5 or ##STR33## and ##STR34## where R is H, OH, OCH.sub.3, OC.sub.2 H.sub.5 or ##STR35##
- 2. A compound selected from the group characterized by the formula: ##STR36## wherein X is selected from O, S, and S.fwdarw.O, and wherein R is selected from H, CH3.sup.-, and C.sub.2 H.sub.5.
- 3. A compound according to claim 2 consisting essentially of the trans isomer wherein X is S and R is C.sub.2 H.sub.5.
- 4. A compound according to claim 2 consisting essentially of the trans isomer wherein X is O and R is C.sub.2 H.sub.5.
- 5. A compound according to claim 2 consisting essentially of the trans isomer wherein X is S.fwdarw.O and R is C.sub.2 H.sub.5.
- 6. A compound according to claim 2 consisting essentially of the trans isomer wherein X is O and R is H.
- 7. A compound selected from the group characterized by the formulas: ##STR37## wherein X is selected from O, S, and S.fwdarw.O, and wherein R is selected from H, CH.sub.3, and C.sub.2 H.sub.5.
- 8. A compound according to claim 7 consisting essentially of the trans isomer wherein X is S and R is OH.sup.- or OCH.sub.3.
- 9. A compound according to claim 7 consisting essentially of the trans isomer wherein X is S.fwdarw.O and R is H or OCH.sub.3.
- 10. A compound according to claim 7 consisting essentially of the trans isomer wherein X is O and R is OCH.sub.3.
- 11. A compound according to claim 7 consisting essentially of the trans isomer wherein X is S and R is H.
- 12. A compound according to claim 7 consisting essentially of the trans isomer wherein X is S and R is OCH.sub.3.
- 13. A compound according to claim 7 consisting essentially of the trans isomer wherein X is O and R is H.
