1. A compound of formula I

2. The compound of claim 1 wherein R3 is Si(CH3)3 or Si(CH3)2CH(CH3)2.

3. The compound of claim 1 wherein X—Y is CRa═CRc—.

4. The compound of claim 1 wherein X—Y is —CRa═N—.

5. The compound of claim 1 wherein X—Y is —CRaRb═CRcRd—.

6. The compound of claim 3 wherein R3 is Si(CH3)3 or Si(CH3)2CH(CH3)2.

7. The compound of claim 4 wherein R3 is Si(CH3)3 or Si(CH3)2CH(CH3)2.

8. The compound of claim 5 wherein R3 is Si(CH3)3 or Si(CH3)2CH(CH3)2.

9. The compound of claim 1 wherein R8 is selected from the group consisting of C1-C8alkyl, C2-C8alkenyl, and halogen-C1-C8alkyl.

10. The compound of claim 1 wherein R8 is heterocyclyl or heteroaryl which is unsubstituted or substituted by one or two groups independently selected from C1-C8alkyl, C1-C8alkoxy, halogen-C1-C8alkyl, halogen-C1-C8alkoxy and halogen.

11. The compound of claim 1 wherein R8 is —OR12, and R12 is C1-C8alkyl or phenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by one or two groups independently selected from C1-C8alkyl, C1-C8alkoxy, halogen-C1-C8alkyl, halogen-C1-C8alkoxy and halogen.

The compound of claim 1 wherein R8 is —NR13R14, wherein R13 and R14 independently from each other are selected from hydrogen, C1-C8alkyl, and phenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by one or two groups independently selected from C1-C8alkyl, C1-C8alkoxy, halogen-C1-C8alkyl, halogen-C1-C8alkoxy and halogen.

13. The compound of claim 1 wherein R8 is C(O)—OR15, wherein R15 is hydrogen or C1-C8alkyl.

14. The compound of claim 1 wherein R8 is R8 is phenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by one or two groups independently selected from C1-C8alkyl, C1-C8 alkoxy, halogen-C1-C8alkyl, halogen-C1-C8alkoxy and halogen.

15. A process for the manufacture of compounds of formula I according to claim 1 which process comprises
