1. Field of the Invention
This invention relates generally to hidden-fastener fences and more particularly to one that is able to boost rigidity of the structure of horizontal tubes.
2. Description of the Prior Art
Fences are usually made up of multiple vertical and horizontal tubes that are intersecting to each other, where the intersection of each vertical tube and each horizontal tube is further fixed firmly by a fastener. To beautify the appearance of the whole fence, this inventor has endeavored to improve the hidden-fastener structure, and that efforts brought him a patent, U.S. Pat. No. 7,384,025. The inventor now made another improvement on the hidden-fastener fence again, which substantially boosts the rigidity of the structure of the hidden-fastener fence.
This invention is characterized mainly as: wavelike seizing surfaces are provided on the inner walls of a horizontal tubes, a L-type fixing bar is embedded in its bottom opening, and embedding verges at both sides of the bottom of the fixing bar are to clasp firmly with seizing surfaces of the horizontal tubes; a separated interval is kept in between top outer side of the vertical plate of the fixing bar above the embedding verge and the inner wall of the horizontal tube; a horizontal plate of the fixing bar is provided with a bore at the location corresponding to each vertical tube that penetrates, which offers the means that the fixing bar can intersect and join each vertical tube through the helical joining by the fastener; the seizing surfaces on the inner walls of the bottom opening of the horizontal tube clasps the embedding verges at both sides of the horizontal plate of the fixing bar. Accordingly, the joining of the embedding verges at the both sides of the horizontal plate of the fixing bar and the seizing surfaces of the corresponding inner walls of the horizontal tube would prop the bottom opening of the horizontal tube outward, which considerably boosts the structural strength of the bottom opening of the horizontal tube, and the wavelike seizing surfaces on the inner walls of the horizontal tube further fortifies the rigidity of the horizontal tube.
To achieve the foregoing objects and function of the present invention, the techniques and structure adopted are described with reference to the following preferred embodiments.
Referring to
a horizontal tube 10, is provided with an opening 11 at its bottom, and wavelike seizing surfaces 12 at its corresponding inner walls. Besides the horizontal tubes 10 at the utmost of the fence 1, each horizontal tube 10 is provided with a hole 13 (shown in
During Assembly:
Accordingly, this invention is characterized by the hidden fasteners 40 in the horizontal tubes 10, the horizontal plate 31 of the fixing bar 30 propping the bottom opening 11 of the horizontal tube 10, and the setting of the wavelike seizing surfaces 12 on the inner walls of the horizontal tubes 10, which has better rigidity over the prior art so as to substantially fortify the structural strength of the horizontal tubes 10.
To sum up, the present invention is construed as not only novel but useful, thereby filing the present application herein subject to the patent law, which may obtain a patent thereof.
