Claims
- 1. A lubricant and coolant, consisting essentially of:molybdenum disulfide powder; and a liquid in which the molybdenum disulfide powder is dispersed to form a liquid suspension wherein the liquid consists essentially of kerosene, chloroparaffin and carbon tetrachloride.
- 2. A lubricant and coolant as in claim 1, having the composition by volume of approximately chloroparaffin/molybdenum disulfide powder/kerosene/carbon tetrachloride in a ratio of 1/1.0-1.5/2.0-2.5/0.03-0.07.
- 3. A lubricant and coolant consisting essentially of molybdenum disulfide powder and a liquid in which the molybdenum disulfide powder is dispersed to form a liquid suspension, said liquid consisting essentially of kerosene, chloroparaffin, and carbon tetrachloride.
