FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates generally to a pocket-sized portable device that provides a high-profile, three-dimensional shape with storage cavity utilized as a golf ball marker around the golf greens.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Within the game of golf some added accessories are needed to help improve play, maintain pace of play and increase the accuracy of the player. Ball markers are one of these added accessories and commonly used around the greens to mark the position of the golf ball so that it can be legally picked up by the player. The ball marker is generally placed behind or beside the golf ball prior to the player lifting their ball, typically a small flat coin-shaped object is generally preferred. Ball markers can also be used to help the golfer line up their putt to the hole and assist other players to identify another players' ball marker position on the putting surface. A problem with typical flat coin-shaped ball markers is they tend to lose their visual effectiveness at longer distance and are not easily identified along the ground while the golfer moves around the putting surface.
An objective of the present invention is to provide users with a portable higher profile three-dimensional golf ball marker to help with ball marking functionality, enhance ball position on the putting green, serve as an alignment aid to read the line up between the ball and the cup. The present visual presentation intends to provide users with a device that can further store various accessories within a hollow cavity. In order to accomplish that, the present embodiment comprises a male section and a female section. Further, the male section depicts a small channel to accommodate an embedded magnet to allow the user to add an additional coin like ball marker on the present invention. Thus, the present invention is a high-profile, three-dimensional two-part ball marker with storage capabilities which is highly visible up close and at distance, easily identified on the putting surface that aids identification of marker positioning and alignment.

The present invention is a multipart portable golf ball marker with storage capability that provides enhanced visibility. The present visual presentation seeks to provide users with a device which contains a hollow section that allows a golfer to store small objects and/or cleaning accessories within the present invention. Thus, the present invention is a portable high-profile, three-dimensional, two-part golf ball marker that provides an easily identifiable device that aids with visibility, ball alignment and marker positioning on the putting surface. An objective of the present invention is to provide users with a golf ball marker with a higher profile, enhanced visibility, enhanced spatial awareness, that can assist a player with ball alignment on the putting green to the cup. The present invention intends to provide users with a device that can help golfers immediately identify a ball marker location up close and at distance and assist other players to avoid causing spike mark damage along the roll path of a ball on the putting green to the cup.
As seen in FIG. 1-6, the present invention is a high profile, three-dimensional golf ball marker that contains a storage cavity. The present invention comprises a male section 2 and a female section 1. The male section 2 comprises a male hollow section 21, a male recessed side, and a fastening ring 23. The female section 1 comprises a female hollow section 11, a female recessed side 12, and a section receiver 13. The male section 2 is a semi-spherical shape. As a result, the male section 2 creates half of a golf ball shape manufactured of plastic or other suitable materials to provide a visual awareness along a putting green of a golf course. The female section 1 is a semi-spherical shape. Consequently, the female section 1 manufactured of plastic or other suitable materials that mimics the look of a golf ball. The male section 2 secures to the female section 1 to create a spherical shape. Accordingly, the male and the female section 1 combine to create a spherical golf ball shape.
In reference to FIG. 1, the male section 2 is positioned onto the female section 1. The male section 2 is the top part of the present invention. The male hollow section 21 is a central semi-spherical cavity. Thus, the male section 2 is hollow to receive an external component such as golf tees, additional coin type ball markers and/or cleaning accessories.
In reference to FIG. 2, the male section 2 can support the present invention on a flat surface along the male recessed side. The male recessed side 22 is positioned on the front side of the male hollow section 21. So, the male recessed side 22 does not interfere with the male hollow section 21. The male recessed side 22 is a flat semi-circular cavity. As a result, the male recessed side 22 can lay flat along a flat external surface.
Further as the present invention can house a magnet 221 as shown in FIG. 4. The male recessed side 22 comprises a magnet 221. The magnet 221 is integrated into the male recessed side. Consequently, the magnet 221 is embedded externally in the male recessed side 22 so that the magnet 221 can be seen externally while the magnet 221 force from the magnet 221 can be experienced externally. The magnet 221 attracts an external magnetic golf ball marker. Accordingly, the magnet 221 can secure a magnetic golf ball marker to the present invention.
In reference to FIG. 3, the fastening ring 23 is integrated along the surface of the male section 2. Thus, the fastening ring 23 allows the male section 2 to connect to the female section 1. The fastening ring 23 extrudes from the male section 2 around the male hollow section 21 circumference. So, the fastening ring 23 can traverse and fit into the female section 1. The fastening ring 23 secures the male section 2 to the female section 1.
In reference to FIG. 5, the female section 1 is the bottom part of the present invention. As a result, the male section 2 fits on top of and into the female section 1. The female section 11 is a central semi-spherical cavity. Consequently, the female section 11 secures external objects placed within.
In reference to FIG. 3, the female recessed side 12 is positioned on the front side of the female section 11. Accordingly, the female recessed side 12 matches up with the male recessed side. The female recessed side 12 is a flat semi-circular cavity.
Furthermore, the present invention creates a spherical hollow cavity as seen in FIG. 2. The female recessed side 12 aligns with the male recessed side. As a result, the female recessed side 12 matches up with the male recessed side 22 to create a flat base. The female recessed side 12 creates a circular shaped cavity with the male recessed side. Consequently, the female recessed side 12 and male recessed side 22 join to make a circular base.
In reference to FIG. 2, the section receiver 13 is integrated along the surface of the female section 1. Accordingly, the section receiver 13 is a ring-shaped cutout with a diameter slightly smaller than the diameter of the fastening ring 23. The section receiver 13 extrudes into the female section 1 along the female section 11 circumference. Thus, the section receiver 13 can secure the male section 2. The section receiver 13 receives the fastening ring 23. The section receiver 13 secures the fastening ring 23 with a tensional force. So, the section receiver 13 tightly secures the fastening ring 23 to ensure the male section 2 and female section 1 stay secured to each other creating a spherical cavity that can secure external objects.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
