Claims
- 1. A thermoformed container, comprising:
- a first portion including a bottom wall and a plurality of first side walls extending upwardly from said bottom wall, said first portion including a latch flap extending upwardly from one of said first side walls, said latch flap including a generally flat portion and at least one button protruding outwardly from said generally flat portion, said button being spaced away from a top edge of said latch flap and being trapezoidally-shaped in cross-section where said button intersects said flat portion; and
- a second portion hingedly connected to said first portion, said second portion including a top wall and a plurality of second side walls extending downwardly from said top wall, one of said second side walls forming at least one large, trapezoidally-shaped opening for receiving said button, said opening having two angled sides and being substantially free of tearing along each of said angled sides.
- 2. The thermoformed container of claim 1 wherein said one of said second side walls includes an inwardly protruding recess and said opening is formed by said inwardly protruding recess.
- 3. The thermoformed container of claim 1 wherein said opening has a height of 13.6 mm and tapers in width from 12.7 mm to 25.4 mm from top to bottom.
