Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a holder system for carrying items of variable size, such as soaps or candles. The holder system comprises a height controlling bar for adjusting height of opening in the holder to accommodate soaps and candles of variable size. The holder system further comprises an outer body having multiple holes at side walls for mounting the height controlling bar.
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present disclosure relates generally to a holder for accommodating items of varying size, such as soaps and candles.

BACKGROUND

Soaps and candles, and other items of variable size, are generally placed in holders when not in use. Soaps are utilized for cleaning dishes or human body. When a soap is new and not used by a user, a size of the soap is maximum. When the soap is being used in daily activities, the size of the soap gets reduced over a time period. A soap holder having a fixed depth is generally used for accommodating the soap. When the soap is new, it can be easily accommodated within the soap holder. A person can easily pick up the soap from top as the height of soap is equal to or slightly greater than the height of the soap holder. However, when the size of the soap is reduced, the person may face problem in picking the soap from the soap holder as the height of the soap is less than the height of the soap holder.

Similarly, when a candle is new and not used by a user, a size of the candle is maximum. When the candle is being used in daily activities, the size of the candle gets reduced over the time period. A candle holder having a fixed depth is generally used for accommodating the candle. When the candle is new, it can be easily accommodated within the candle holder. A person can easily pick up the candle from top as the height of candle is equal to or slightly greater than the height of the candle holder. However, when the size of the candle is reduced, the person may face problem in picking the candle from the candle holder as the height of the candle is less than the height of the candle holder. Moreover, when the size of the candle is reduced, the flame portion may be below the surface of the holder, obscuring some of the light.

In addition, holders for items of variable size such as soap or candles and components thereof may be made of various materials, including but not limited to ceramic, concrete, plastic, wood, silicone, glass, metal, stone, synthetic materials, or other suitable materials. The soap or candle holders generally have a flat or concave base for placing the soap or candle. However, water may be collected when wet soap is placed in the soap holder after usage. Thus, a time required for drying the soap is increased. Further, when the soap is left in the water inside the soap holder, it becomes soft and messy. As a result, a portion of the soap gets wasted and time and effort are required for frequent cleaning of the soap dish. Moreover, when soap is left in water it is unsightly, degrades the visual appearance and texture of the soap, and can promote mold, mildew and bacterial growth.

Thus, there is a need for a holder for accommodating soaps, candles and other items of variable size, that addresses the aforesaid problems of conventional holders.

SUMMARY

Consequently, there is a need for an improved apparatus and arrangement for implementing the apparatus that alleviates at least some of the above-cited problems.

It is therefore an object of the present disclosure to provide a holder for accommodating soaps, candles and other items of variable size to mitigate, alleviate, or eliminate all or at least some of the above-discussed drawbacks of presently known solutions.

This and other objects are achieved using a device and a method as defined in the appended claims. The term exemplary is in the present context to be understood as serving as an instance, example or illustration.

While the preferred embodiment is described as soap or candle, the holder may accommodate other kinds of items of variable size. For example, art supplies such as pencils, crayons, and pastels are also of variable size and may also be used. Other items of variable size that may be used with the holder include but are not limited to makeup and cosmetics products, such as, eyeshadows, eye shadow sticks, foundation sticks, and eye shadow pencils. The holder may also accommodate new types of products that are not presently available on the market. Items of variable size includes items of which individual units vary in size during use, such as soaps or candles, and items for which the size varies between individual units. For example, the latter would include pens, which do not vary in size with use, but are made in varying sizes themselves.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a holder system for carrying items of variable size is disclosed. The holder comprises a height controlling bar for adjusting height of opening in the holder to accommodate items of variable size, such as soaps and candles. The holder further comprises an outer body having multiple holes at side walls for mounting the height controlling bar.

In an aspect, the multiple holes are formed at the side walls at different height from a base of the holder.

In an aspect, the multiple holes have different shapes and dimensions depending upon requirements.

In an aspect, each hole of the multiple holes of a left wall of the holder is aligned with its opposite hole of a right wall of the holder.

In an aspect, the base of the holder has one or more holes for allowing quick drying of the soap.

In an aspect, the height controlling bar has one or more holes for minimizing contact between the soap and the height controlling bar.

In an aspect, the one or more holes of the height controlling bar have different shapes and dimensions.

In an aspect, one of the sides of the height controlling bar is tilted at an angle, for example 90 degrees, for securing the height controlling bar within the multiple holes present at the side walls of the outer body.

In an aspect, the outer body and the height controlling bar may be made of one or more of ceramic, concrete, plastic, wood, silicone, glass, metal, stone, synthetic materials, or other suitable materials. The height controlling bar may be made of the same material, or different material, as the main body.

In an aspect, a material for making the holder is mixed with a florescent color for enabling the holder to glow in dark.

In some embodiments, any of the above aspects may additionally have features identical with or corresponding to any of the various features as explained above for any of the other aspects.

For example, when a soap is new and having its original height, the height controlling bar 102 may be mounted at just above the bottom or base of the holder 100. On the contrary, when the soap is used and the height of the soap is less than the original height of the soap, the height controlling bar 102 may be placed at a height from the bottom according to the current height of the soap.

The holder 100 may further comprise an outer body 104 having multiple holes 106 at side walls for mounting the height controlling bar 102. The multiple holes 106 are formed at the side walls at different height from a base of the holder 100. For example, a first hole 106-1 may be formed just above the base of the holder 100, a second hole 106-2 may be formed at a pre-defined height from the first hole 106-1, and so on. The pre-defined height may be decided at the time of manufacturing of the holder 100 according to the requirement.

The dimension of the multiple holes 106 may be defined according to the dimension of the height controlling bar 102 such the height controlling bar 102 may be mounted through the holes 106. In implementation, when the soap is new and having its original height, the height controlling bar 102 may be mounted at the first hole 106-1. When the soap is used and the height of the soap is less than the original height of the soap, the height controlling bar 102 may be placed at the second hole 106-2 and so on.

Each hole of the multiple holes 106 of a left wall of the outer body 104 is aligned with its opposite hole of a right wall of the outer body 104. For example, the first hole 106-1 of the left side may be aligned with the first hole 106-1 of the right side, the second hole 106-2 of the left side may be aligned with the second hole 106-2 of the right side, and so on.
