Claims
- 1. A hollow article having a planar structure containing a desired system of internal tubular passageways in a predetermined pattern for flow of a heat exchange medium therethrough defining at least one header connected by connecting portions of said passageways extending therefrom, said passageways including at least one opening extending from said header to permit the flow of fluid therethrough, wherein said connecting portions further define a nib-like marker structure adapted to serve as an alignment means in the sizing of the final linear dimensions of said article.
- 2. The article of claim 1 wherein upon inflation of said article, said marker comprises a distension or bulge associated with a portion of said passageways.
- 3. The article of claim 1 wherein said passageways have a flat-topped configuration.
- 4. The article of claim 1 wherein said passageways have a semi-circular configuration.
- 5. The article of claim 1 wherein the nib-like marker is displaced at a location central with respect to the lateral dimensions of said article.
- 6. The article of claim 1 wherein the nib-like marker is situated in lateral displacement to the center of the panel.
- 7. The article of claim 1 wherein upon the inflation of said article, said marker comprises an uninflated welded portion defined in shape by the inflated portion of said pattern.
- 8. The article of claim 1 wherein said pattern comprises a pair of opposed headers, passageways extending longitudinally in a direction transverse to and connecting said headers and entry and exit portions extending from said headers to opposed edges of said article, and wherein said marker structure comprises a distension associated with one of said longitudinally extending passageways.
- 9. The article of claim 8 wherein said headers include a plurality of portions which are bonded together to provide interruption in fluid flow.
- 10. The article of claim 1 wherein said pattern includes a plurality of spaced, parallel individual connecting portions of said passageways extending from said header.
- 11. The article according to claim 10 wherein nib-like marker is associated with one of said parallel passageways.
- 12. The article of claim 1 which comprises a panel prepared from metal.
- 13. The article of claim 12 comprising a refrigerator evaporator.
- 14. The article of claim 12 comprising a solar collector panel.
- 15. A hollow article having a planar structure containing a desired system of internal tubular passageways in a predetermined pattern for flow of a heat exchange medium therethrough defining opposed headers connected by connecting portions of said passageways extending therebetween, said passageways including entry and exit portions extending from opposed ends of said headers to provide ingress and egress openings for said heat exchange medium, wherein said connecting portions further define a nib-like marker structure adapted to serve as an alignment means in the sizing of the final linear dimensions of said article.
- 16. The article of claim 15 wherein said opposed headers are connected by a plurality of spaced, parallel individual connecting portions of said passageways extending therebetween.
