Abstract
The present invention discloses a home code setting method for a home network system which can overcome a spatial installation limit and improve reliability of network connection. The home code setting method for the home network system includes the steps of connecting a network server to one network, searching for a network at a network device, and when one network is searched for in the search step, performing, at the network device, connection or registration to the network server connected to the network.

Claims
  • 1. A home code setting method for a home network system, comprising the steps of: connecting a network server to one network;searching for a network at a network device; andwhen one network is searched for in the search step, performing, at the network device, connection or registration to the network server connected to the network.
  • 2. The home code setting method of claim 1, comprising a step for transmitting, at the network server, a network identifier corresponding to the network, wherein, in the search step, the network device receives the network identifier, searches for the network according to the network identifier, and decides whether the searched network is one on the basis of the network identifier.
  • 3. The home code setting method of claim 1, comprising a step for transmitting, at the network server, the network identifier corresponding to the network in a multiple number at intervals of a predetermined time, wherein, in the search step, the network device receives the network identifiers, and decides that the searched network is one when the received network identifiers are identical.
  • 4. The home code setting method of either claim 2 or 3, wherein the transmission step and the reception step are carried out respectively after the network server and the network device acquire a network join start request from the user.
  • 5. The home code setting method of claim 3, wherein the transmission step and the reception step are carried out for each preset time.
  • 6. The home code setting method of any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the network identifier comprises at least one of a home code, channel and PAN ID.
  • 7. A network device, comprising: an input means for acquiring an input for a network join start request from the user;a network adapter for searching for a network, and performing network connection to a single network; anda control means for transmitting the network join start request to the network adapter to perform the network connection.
  • 8. The network device of claim 7, wherein the network adapter searches for a network within a short distance.
  • 9. The network device of claim 8, wherein the network adapter performs network registration to the searched network.
  • 10. The network device of any one of claims 7 to 9, wherein the network adapter performs the network connection or network registration according to the number of the searched networks.
  • 11. The network device of claim 10, wherein the network adapter calculates the number of the networks according to network identifiers.
  • 12. The network device of either claim 7 or 8, wherein the network adapter searches for the network with minimum transmission power.
  • 13. The network device of claim 9, wherein the network adapter acquires network information by performing the network registration.
  • 14. The network device of claim 13, wherein the network adapter performs registration to the network server according to the network information.
  • 15. The network device of claim 14, wherein the network adapter performs registration to the network server with normal transmission power.
  • 16. A network adapter, comprising: a search means for searching for a network; anda registration means for performing network connection or registration according to the number of the searched networks.
  • 17. The network adapter of claim 16, wherein the network adapter comprises a calculation means for calculating the number of the searched networks according to network identifiers.
  • 18. The network adapter of claim 16, wherein the search means searches for the network with minimum transmission power.
  • 19. The network adapter of claim 16, wherein the registration means acquires network information by performing the network registration.
  • 20. The network adapter of claim 19, wherein the registration means performs registration to the network server according to the network information.
