This application is a continuation in part of application numbered Ser. No. 15/872,102. The present invention relates to hooded outerwear headgear, including, but not limited, to hooded outerwear headgear for coats, jackets, raincoats, shirts, sweaters, summer wear, and any kind of top clothing wear.
Hooded a outerwear headgear is known and commonly used. Typical hooded wear, however, lacks peripheral side vision. This r is fatalities when hooded headgear pedestrians having no peripheral side vision, attempt to cross the street and cannot see approaching traffic.
Having no peripheral side vision for the wearer of hooded headgear also leads to mugging events and animal attacks against the wearer of the hooded headgear because of no peripheral side vision to see the approaching attacker. In summary, having no peripheral side vision when wearing hooded headgear can lead to so many accidents, dangers, injuries and even death.
The present invention is directed to a garment apparatus that gives head covering to the wearer. A preferred embodiment of the garment apparatus includes peripheral side vision for the wearer with the option to close off the peripheral side vision whenever necessary due to inclement weather or privacy for the wearer but not limited to these examples. Peripheral side vision the hooded wearer is achieved by releasing fasteners, of either at least a snap, button, zipper, hook and loop fastener, adjustable belt portion or tie of the Hoodie Side Vision Covers. Wearer can release fasteners of the Hoodie Side Vision Covers on either one or both sides of the hooded outerwear which ever necessary for the moment wearer needs to use their peripheral side vision. Then the wearer can pull the Hoodie Side Vision Covers back away from the peripheral side vision of the wearer, then slide the Hoodie Side Vision Covers back into side/rear Hoodie Side Vision Cover Pockets for the Hoodie Side Vision Covers.
After which the hooded headgear wearer can fasten the Hoodie Side Vision Covers to the edge of the side/rear Hoodie Side Vision Cover Pockets for the Hoodie Side Vision Covers of the hooded wear. The Hoodie Side Vision Cover material is now tucked away inside the Hoodie
Side Vision Cover Pockets and peripheral side vision is no longer obstructed by the Hoodie Side Vision Covers of the hooded headgear material. When peripheral side vision is no longer a priority, then for weather protection, the wearer of the hooded head gear can then unfasten the hooded Hoodie Side Vision Covers from the Hoodie Side Vision Cover Pockets and pull the Hoodie Side Vision Covers out of the Hoodie Side Vision Cover Pockets and then fasten the Hoodie Side Vision Covers to the anterior edge of the hooded outerwear peripheral side vision lateral areas. Side vision would then be obstructed or closed off, but the wearer of the hooded outerwear would again have the added protection from the elements. With this preferred embodiment, hooded headgear wearers be safer from the weather elements while still having the added option of peripheral side vision whenever needed to protect the wearer from traffic mishaps, and attacks by muggers and animals. In yet another embodiment, hooded headgear wearers will have the option to have a Second Hoodie Headgear Shell attached to the hooded outerwear to cover the first Noodle Headgear Shell when necessary so when the weather elements are really harsh and wearer may not be able to constantly open and dose off the peripheral side vision with the Hoodie Side Vision Covers, the Hoodie Side Vision Cover may remain inside the Hoodie Side Vision Covers Pockets and the Second
Hoodie Headgear Shell shay be pulled on and off to make use of the peripheral side vision openings of the First Hoodie Headgear Shell while the First Hoodie Headgear Shell is still pulled over the head of wearer for added weather protection.
In further embodiment the Hoodie Side Vision Covers and Hoodie Side Vision Cover Pockets of the First Hooded Headgear Shell will be cosmetically made so as to be as discreet and unnoticeable as possible. It will look as much as possible like any other hooded outerwear on the market unless fashion demands and the hooded outerwear manufacturers decide to make the First and Second Hoodie Headgear Shells different colors parts of a fashion statement and the First Hoodie Headgear Shell, peripheral Hoodie Side Vision Covers and Hoodie Side Vision Cover Pockets of different designs and colors. That will be optional. The present invention thus discloses a novel apparatus that addresses the deficiencies of traditional hooded outerwear headgear.
Further features and advantages of the invention can be ascertained from the following detailed descriptions that is provided in connection with the drawing(s) described below:
A more safety conscious hooded outerwear headgear has been discovered in that the peripheral side vision on both sides of the hooded outerwear head gear can be achieved by the wearer of the hooded device by unsnapping the Hoodie Side Vision Covers away from the anterior edge of the hooded outerwear, pulling the Hoodie Side Vision Covers back and away from the wearer's peripheral side vision and then sliding the Hoodie Side Vision Covers into the Hoodie Side Vision Cover Pockets sewn onto the sides of the First Hoodie Headgear Shell. After which the Hoodie Side Vision Cover Fasteners are then snapped, buttoned, zipped, hooked and looped fastened, adjustable belt portioned or tied into place to the edge of the Hoodie Side Vision Cover Pockets for a unobstructed peripheral side vision view. Anytime the wearer of the peripheral side vision hooded headgear wants to cover up the peripheral side openings vision due to inclement weather, wearer can then unsnap the Hoodie Side Vision Covers out and away from the Hoodie Side Vision Cover Pockets. Then wearer of hooded headgear can then slide the Hoodie Side Vision Covers towards the anterior edge of the hooded outer wear and snap the fasteners into place, thus completing closure of peripheral side vision with the Hoodie Side Vision Covers and adding sore protection against inclement weather.
In preferred embodiments shown in drawing,
Fasteners, (on both sides of head). When peripheral de vision is needed then 4A, Snap Fasteners are released from edge of hooded headgear and 2A, Hoodie Side Vision Cover is slid back into 3A, Hoodie Side Vision Cover Pockets (shown by partial lines) sewn neatly attached to 1A, lateral hooded headgear. In
I, being the original sole inventor of the Hoodie Side Vision Covers, Side Vision Cover Pockets and the other accessories noted in this application, does not limit claim for this invention to just Outerwear Coats, but I also lay claim to the Hoodie Side Vision Cover Pockets and accessories for use with Jackets, Sweaters, Sweat Suit Tops, Shirts, Blouses, Summer Wear, or any other articles of clothing worn and but not limited to these items mentioned.
